- A relaxing and ambient full orchestral piece made using Cubase 12 Pro! Visuals inspired by @AZALI00013!
Also, I'm doing a Premiere because I haven't done one of those in a bit (and it might be interesting).
LORE:
This song is one I started almost a month ago (I think). It was (and still is) a piece I created for a little series I'm composing music for, Twisted Lies. I intended it to be a theme for a more reserved yet kind character of the series, so hopefully, that impression comes across (especially at the beginning). I'll admit I forgot my original goal as I continued composing, so the original message probably becomes muddled later in the composition.
Overall, I'm pretty proud of this piece! I'll admit, it needs quite a bit of fine-tuning, but this video would be delayed over a week if I did that (I'm away from my PC for Spring Break, which has Cubase and the required hardware). (In particular, the loud bit was so loud compared to the rest of the piece that it required heavy limiting to keep it from clipping.) I've been working long enough on this one song, too; I'm ready to move on to something else.
I hope you enjoy(ed)! :D
Also, my favorite part is probably 2:24

I don't know why this appeared in my front page, but I'm thankful. This is gorgeous, I absolutely love it
thank you so much! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Ditto!
absolutely beautiful. no idea why youtube suggested it to me but i love it :) beginning is very reminiscient of the lead-in to fantasmic at disney world!
thank you so much! :D I'm happy you liked it!
I've never been to Disney world but it seems like a neat place :)
Man, this is an amazing composition, I'm surprised it doesn't have more views, bravo! 👏
thank you so much ! :D
You're orchestral pieces are so beautiful, like i mean it they are extremely good. Each song is a full journey and a build up to a huge moment. Your music is also very inspirational and makes me want to try and make my own orchestral piece.
Very nicely done!
thank you so much! :D i'm glad you liked it!
this is so so beautiful, and your handle of colors and harmonies is really alluring! I love how the piece has a great range of emotionality and intensity while still maintaining that kinda wondrous, mysterious, starry quality throughout. amazing work and im so glad I stumbled upon it :))
Thank you so much! :D
Wonderful, amazing work! Incredible use of the orchestral textures and piano. That triumphant section is golden! I also love the motif that repeats itself constantly, it gives me the image of stars in the night sky, a rocket seen flying off into the distance. Wonderful!
thank you so much! :D this means a lot coming from you -- your stuff is amazing!
This is awesomes! I love how soft it can get while still hitting hard
thank you! :D
wow! IReally like how it builds up!
thank you! :D the build up is probably what I'm most proud of in this piece
this is incredibly good, i wish i had those VSTs but wow they are very pricey. any way this sounds fantastic!!
thanks! :D yeah, the cinematic studio series stuff is expensive, but they sound so good
Awesome job, those woodwinds sound incredibly beautiful. The entire orchestration is top level. You deserve more subscribers! And I wanted to know what instruments they were but I already saw the description, I'm curious apparently. 😹
thank you! :D i'm glad you enjoyed this piece (and that you were curious enough to look through my long description lol)
Realizing how Harry potter sounding the build up is, so majestic!
thanks! :D it's an honor to be compared to john williams!
i'm actually playing a harry potter piece in the orchestra i'm in, so it may not be a coincidence lol (though it wasn't intentional)
ooo i love this!!
i some day want to compose something like this!!
thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this piece :D
Cool bro
thanks :D
Amazing work! :))
thank you so much :D i'm glad you liked it!
really beautiful wow . .
thank you so much, spiral! :D
This is beautiful my friend…
Also did you make this composition under FL Studio or Cubase ? Because in the description it says that you made it with Cubase
Wait nevermind i just noticed the bottom of the description where you already explain that FL was used only for the visuals 😂
How do you make that ? I mean you just throw midi files in FL Studio and that’s it ? Because i also thought about using Fruity Loops just for the visual part before, but i never tried so i wasnt sure if it would work lmao
thank you so much! :D
I exported it from Cubase as a midi, then imported it into FL Studio. every track was in one pattern, so I divided each instrument based on section! then, I found a color pallet online and colored the patterns accordingly :)
The audio was exported from Cubase, then I imported the audio into FL Studio (in a separate project from the one with the visuals) and did a little extra mastering there :D
this is giving me Hogwarts legacy vibes, i just wanna WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA
thank you! i may have been inspired by that unintentionally lol my roommate's girlfriend played through the whole game at our place. then i also played a harry potter piece for orchestra at the same time :D
