Star Trek: Tactical Assault: is a star ship simulation game in the same vain as Star Trek Starfleet Command 3. The game features many of the same elements found in Starfleet Command 3 for example the game takes place on a 2d plane, it features a crew upgrade system, and it has space collisions. In this game one primarily circles other ships while waiting for one's weapons to recharge. The game features a wide variety of starships to choose from and each function differently.

this is a great game. i enjoy playing it a lot. it is slow but star trek is slow. you need to think about ur approach and not go in with lasers blazing. i like crippling the enemy ship and just teasing them lol. it can be very tough though.

i played, and is fine, the problem is the Klingon campain, cause the klingon ships dont have auto-track weapons, so u must only fire in front, cause is frustating and expose ur front shield

the gorn missions were the absolute worst. Idk who made the balance decisions around them but seriously fuck them. Fast Recharge weapons, damage that tears through your shields, ability to turn ships quickly. One of the least fun experiences I had playing the game.

And when you either completed this game or if it bored you to tears, you can jump straight in and play the same game but slightly better in Star Trek Online! :P

Starfleet command 3 was horrible compared to Starfleet command 2 op and Starfleet command 1/2.. However this guy was good on the ds.. And Iiked the PSP version even more
