I think that the extraordinary craftsmanship behind Rocco is what mesmerizeses so many people. The fact that these beautiful pieces of furniture & art were crafted by human hands is almost unbelievable. The precision, detail, & pure skill required to create such beautiful works of art is just about unfathomable to the average person. Truly extraordinary✨️
I always wonder what was the name of that style of decor other than baroque. Beauty and the beast decor has been my inspiration for decorating my house. I shop antiques and rehab them. Thanks for sharing this with us
This is a beautiful video and I learned a lot! Thank you! Would you ever consider doing one on vintage cosmetics cases, like compacts, lipstick cases, etc? I think that would be a great topic for you!
Rococo style is one of my favourite styles. It has an elegant organic flow to its design. I also love baroque style too.
So what I want to take away from this: just like furniture, asymmetrical faces and bodies aren’t more unsightly than perfect symmetry 😌 we are simply “French Rococo” 😉 How fancy and refined! 🏰 ✨🥂 Long live unpredictable beauty ❤️
I have a challenge for u… I’m a custodian at a high school! How do I look elegant and put together doing that? We can wear what we want. Please help!!!
I love rococo inspired decor. It pairs lovely with my love of copious houseplants.
A best example of the Rococo style is the Dolmabahçe Palace at Istanbul, Turkey. Its a beautiful combination of neo-baroque and Rococo interior. And the palace was once the homes of the ottoman sultans.
I can't pick a certain item but was overwhelmed in the best way by each scene, item and I never knew what rococo was! It's just breathtaking!!!
I love the Rocco style. Every piece is magical and puts you in a living fairytale. Thank you for a lovely video Lulu. 🤗🤗😙😗😘💗💗💗
Rococo is still one of my favorite decor styles.
Girl, why not? It was luxury and it’s makes us antique freaks happy. happiness is within us so let it shine sis!💌
Watched this for assignment reference, ending with teary eyes. What a beautiful art and video. Thanks!
Love this video! I love learning about different design styles besides the traditional & common ones used today. There are so many styles throughout history to learn from & implement, even if only certain touches are used like a focal point or accents. This is true in fashion as well. 1 of my favorites is the art nouveau period. Well done!❤
This was an excellent video essay on the topic and as someone who loves rococo it really did the topic justice.
Absolutely jaw-dropping...
I often felt like I was born in earlier times because I have the taste of 1500 not into the newest styles. Thank you Lulu I learned so much from you. Many blessings and I look forward in seeing what you post next.
