Photo lab employee from the olden days of the early 2000s here, we used to have a special machine that would get the leader out of the canister without exposing the rest of the film. The internet says there are some techniques to try with tape or another negative (not that those are easy to come by!), and it’s definitely worth a try! Good luck my friend!

My mom would pick out a wrapping paper for each kid so she didn’t have to write the name and we couldn’t go up to the tree and guess what was in I guess cause we didn’t know what was our gift. Only she knew the code.

Watching Crash and Coco being all cuddly makes me want another cat. My cat wants to cuddle my dog so badly but he's not having it 🤣 A Walk to Remember is my favorite movie too! I remember the first time I watched it. I was in middle or high school and I was sick. I laid in the recliner and watched that movie on repeat for a full day. Watch, cry, rewind, repeat.

Idk how much wrapping paper you keep but for storage, they actually make a storage container that’s tall and skinny and it holds like 20 rolls of wrapping paper! My mom does the same thing with the storage bin for wrapping supplies and then the paper tote. Makes it so easy! 😊
I loove wrapping gifts, it’s one of those activities I can just turn off my brain and go to town!
If I remember right You lay the end of the film over the gears and close the hatch. You wind the top until it says one. Take a photo and wind the hatch to the 2. When you're done with your film and can't take any more photos then you wind the bottom spool.

I got my sister an embossing stamp on Etsy that was customized for her. She loves it! We are all big book lovers. I also got her a necklace that had a really small book pendant with real pages that I customized a quote on also on Etsy! There are so many good book themed books on Etsy I love it.
