    Awesome contents yet again!!
    From Naples we went to Salerno early morning and checked in our hotel around 10.00am and explored the rest of the day and night there. Then we set off from Salerno early morning along the Amalfi Coast stopping at Amalfi and Positano for a few hours each before arriving in Sorrento in the late afternoon where we stayed a few nights there and did the Capri Isand day trip from there. I've never been to Ravello though. I think we kind of went passed Ravello without stopping on our way to Amalfi

      What area or city did you stay in during your trip and for how many days. I am considering a 5 day trip. Is 5 days too short, too long or just right?

      @@greeksun369 Initially I stayed 3 nights in Naples (did a day trip to Pompeii from there), then set off early to Salerno and was there for most of the day and stayed 1 night there. Then set off early morning from Salerno and arrived at Sorrento in late afternoon stopping at Amalfi and Positano along the way. Stayed 3 nights in Sorrento and doing the day trip to Capri from there so total oi 5 nights but I would probably do 1 week so you can explore a bit more better. If you are not bothering with Naples, then do 5 nights in Sorrento and visit the Amalfi Coastline, Capri Island and Pompeii from there. Hope that helps

    Last part of the video shows how spectacular and scenic self driving , any challenges driving around the amalfi coast roads between towns ?

    • @Ian-iy7sl
      @Ian-iy7sl Рік тому

      I heard the roads are small and windy and tend to be absolutely jam packed making it almost impossible to even find parking in the towns

    just got back. honestly was horrible. definitely a scenic part of the world but very very busy with tourists plus it was too hot. Winter travel always trumps summer travel for me. never again! but i thought May wouldnt be that busy !

      Yeah...I heard May thru the end of August/early Sept is the most busiest with tourists. I'm heading to Italy the last week of Sept into the first week of Oct 2022. I was told that this time should not be as busy but still keeping my fingers crossed.

    Me and my fiancé are staying in Salerno in Oct 1-8 and will be exploring along the coast i personality love hikes so we are gunna to do the “Path of the Gods” walk,visit Amalfri coastal towns,Pompei, boat trip along the coast also so we can view the amalfri coast from a different perspective 😍and a few other things any decent tips for when we go? We have a car (im ok with tight and windy roads due to my experience as a HGV driver) whats the temperature/weather like around this time ? Any recommendations for some Italian cuisine restaurants? 😊

      @@HookEm21 that’s a tough one we stayed in vietri sul mare for 3 nights & Sorrento for 3 nights and the first night in Naples all of it was amazing but if i had to pick a favourite i’ll say the boat trip & day out in Capri. Next to that was our day when we hiked from Bomerabo to Positano then spent the rest of the day there 😍

    I would suggest if visiting the Amalfi coast DO NOT go in high season.
    It’s just a traffic jam of tourists!

    • @MultiCityTrips
      @MultiCityTrips  3 роки тому +2

      Thanks so much for sharing this tip. You're so right. Amalfi is beautiful also in Spring and Fall so if you can avoid the high season that would be the best time to visit for sure. May and September are the best months because during these months, crowds are mostly gone and temperatures are the most comfortable, with highs in the 70s and 80s
