Io penso che solo vedere la Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore a Firenze è già uno stupore e una gioia per lo splendore della costruzione che ti toglie il fiato, e la toscana va beh è una cartolina continua.
The mistake tourists make is believing that Italian cities are only ancient because they visit the city centers which are also the oldest parts. For example. in Rome the new part is vast, but it is located outside the center visited by tourists. In Italy skyscrapers are rare, often by choice, they are found in Milan and Naples far from the historic centre, in Florence I believe it is forbidden to build them. In Rome perhaps far from the center they could but I think there would be a lot of people against it because it would change the landscape. It's a common thing in many European cities.
Hi Rhett and Claire I find this video very interesting and informative. My girlfriend and I are from South Africa and plan on going to Italy next year. I would like to know if one needs a permit to fly a drone in the big cities.
exceptional video quality: beautiful colors (and of course storytelling). which camera for filming (and lense) are you using? Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Try Vitamin D3 and Zinc on a daily basis along with vitamin C. Just one tablet each. Been taking it since 2020 and not been sick one day since. Works great for travel and a daily regimen.
Renting a car for a Tuscany road trip seems like the best way to explore! Did you get to try any local wines at the vineyards? I'd love to know which one was your favourite!
Okay guys, qucik advice: I am from Italy. When it comes to booking, try to use Bed and Breakfast and Popular Hotels in Italy; they will give you a better price than Airbnb.

I love when tourists come and visit our country, however city centres and small villages have ancient and old buildings! There's lots of modern housing and infrastructure as well. Oh, please dont always mimic and accentuate the Italian accent accent, it's kinda annoying at times.
Sorry dear,I agree with you that Firenze its a beautifull city but define the most beautifull italian city its not correct.maybe and I say maybe Rome its the most beautifull, but even that its very difficult to say, to choose between Venezia,Roma,Firenze,Napoli, Siena its very hard believe me as Italian.
Only a comment on eating in highways restaurants: it costs you more and it's never the food we eat in our houses, you can't have a real taste of italy there 😊 Greetings from lake of Garda
You come to Italy and bought a bottle of wine for less than 2 € and then you got sick ? You were lucky , the cost of a good EMPTY bottle of wine is about that price 😂😂😂😂
@@RhettandClaire It’s not a “ unique/personal “ feeling… Nothing against any individual BUT it’s too much!!!
