That colored smoke on the sides of your screen is the indicator that tells you when you're about to spawn a hallucination. Once it fills up you leave one behind.
It also functions as a survivor radar. It only starts activating after cooldown if a survivor is close but not looking at you. this guy is the ultimate survivor finder. 30 sec undetec if you need someone and you'll probably be chasing people throughout that time and cooldown. really fun and great killer except for the shitty Thanos mori.

I don't know what all affects the summon bar, but here is what I have so far (forgive the blunt terminology). 1. When your pink state builds up to about a quarter of the screen, it enters a yellow state, signifying that a summon is ready to be placed. The bar builds much faster in this stage. 2. Hitting with your power gives the pink bar a little boost. 3. The bar stops building and resets to the beginning of the yellow state when you're either readying your power, carrying a survivor, or within a certain distance of a hook or hooked survivor. 4. When you teleport or use your power, the yellow bar temporarily stops building for a few seconds.
I think when it's yellow it's ready to spawn just waiting to be a certain distance away from other things like hooks or other hallucinations, that's why you can see it build and fade again when Tofu is walking towards and away from a hook while looping at around the 12:25 mark.
Just in case you don't know yet tofu, the survivor's third perk is a placeholder as said by the devs. Its effect will be completely different when the chapter goes live. I hope the new effect is stronger than what's in the ptb.
25:54 - That teleport wasn't a teleport, it was a hyper fast dash, lol. I think the screen fade that hides the 'teleport' animation failed to trigger, so you saw the teleporting process.

Don't get me wrong, this is a really good chapter and the killer is super creepy. However, tell me if I'm wrong, but I feel like the power has very little to do with the asthetic and teasers of the killer. Idk maybe it's just me
I feel like half of it is sort of fine and the other half… yeah... not great. The Doctor Hallucination + Hag Teleportation thing is pretty decent and seems to align slightly with the idea of a monster that can come from every direction. The water balloon action with bubblegum pink explosions is entirely out of place tho to me. I kind of wished the killer had a unique sort of crawling ability similar to The Pig or Xemomorph or even a mimic ability like being able to mimic survivor sounds / appearances to be able to surprise people in different ways. I definitely was thinking the killer would have something like that from the trailer. Like, what is the point of it being body horror with its weirdly contorting limbs if not to capitalize with equally unnerving movements in chases, or why make it a twisted human corpse thing trying to mimic human speech if not to abuse auditory or visual cues to trick people as a game mechanic?
I agree. And it does not bring anything to the table, does it? It is just a mash up of other killers' powers/abilities which seems to be a trend anymore with DBD. If it actually had a new and unique ability, then it would make the killer 10x better and more exciting.
I'm trying to think of uses. I can see unforseen being used with Undone and a certain clown perk to build stacks by having them constantly mess up. Throw in Ruin and they'd have a reason to stay on the gen. Weaving spiders sounds like it's designed to go with No Mither. You're broken anyway, so you might as well be able to get up and stay stealthy. Wicked might go with Soul Guard.
This killer looks like it was inspired by The Thing. The way it looks like Dwight, splitting open and stabbing tentacles into the survivor, and even the name all give off "The Thing" vibes.
I think when you're using the goop in chase, you wanna aim more at their feet? From the streams I've seen, it looks like the ball will hit, and then bounce/roll forward and get them in the blast.
Unforeseen and Trail, basically stay Undetectable alternating between them every 30 seconds after the first kick. Careful of the 8 regression events on any given gen
The only thing I dont like is I don't immediately see a way to control where your teleporter is gonna spawn beyond using the gun to stop the auto spawn
15 charges on a gen is a good trade off for being broken. Bring tool boxes, BNP's, and gen perks and be amazed at how fast the gens will fly. I think people are sleeping on that perk. Undone will be a good Doctor perk in combination with something like Overcharge, caulrophobia,, or Pop. Get 10 or so stacks of undone and pop is now viable at lower repair levels.
If it was instant maybe but the time investment makes no sense paired with the permanent broken especially considering a killer can interfere and it'll lose progress
So basically if anyone is wonderimg why the unknown looks like the way it does. I think its the entity's cruel joke of what happened to the greenville disappearances. A serial killer? Explains the axe. A horror folk lore? Explains the mimic voice. A extra-terrestrial? Explains the mori. A human experiment? Well... look at that thing. It's basically the "Uknown"
I'm really curious on the lore, did The Entity make this thing from scratch or is it akin to The Dredge where it was pre existing but got more power from the cult.

I'm offerin' my opinion so please spare me. If there was a possibility of League of Legends and DBD doing a collab, I think Fiddlesticks would work on the Unkown And something from the Silent Hill series
Let's be realistic here that would suck it would be cool for a second but the novelty will wear off pretty quickly as it just wouldn't really do anything.

design team gets an A all around. killer power team, B+ at least they're trying. perks get a C across the board. lore team for Unknown gets a C+, they tried. lore team for Sable gets a D-, they didn't.
Poor Nemesis is never gonna recover from trash tier after being outclassed this hard. Ranged attacks and a teleport should never be on the same killer tho

It's a grenade launcher that only effects the survivors in the blast radius, not the projectile, but you need to hit them twice like Nemesis' power.

the perk activates at one token & it consumes all of them when you kick a gen. 30 is just the maximum amount you can have at one time
