- Spicy pan fried filet of fish cajun style (blackened). This is so easy to make, literally takes less than 15 minutes to make from start to finish. Use rock fish, red snapper, halibut, salmon, tilapia, or what have you. Cooking time about 8-9 minutes total. Spices used: 1tsp mustard, 1tsp grounder coriander, 1tsp black pepper, 1tsp cayenne pepper, 1tsp garlic powder, 1tsp onion powder, salt to taste.
Chef Jarod: This is a FABULOUS recipe! I've let friends and neighbors taste my Crappie, White Perch, and Blue Gill fish that I've cooked according to your recipe and they all are crazy about it! Thanks so much for posting this. I never thought I'd crave fish like I have since I cooked my fillets like this. Thanks again!
It looks delicious. Can’t wait to try this. Thanks for sharing. I’m a new sub.🙏🏽
Thanks for your recipe! I have been craving for cajun food and found your video. Now, I will be able to cook it. Thanks from Japan :) Have a good day.

Looks great. Going to make this tonight.
Dear ChefJarod, I just subscribed to this channel, I love your videos in the whole meaning, from the camarographer, your kitchen, babysitting up to your knowledge, the whole WORK. I haven't seen any more of your great presentations for the last 2 years. I hope that some of the unethical comments left by unemphatic close-minded personalities disappoint you and made you change your mind. I've been in Asia, south America and all over here; there's many ways to do a dish. Your recipies are always keep it simple with a "big shot". Please come back; if not, I hope it is for good. GOOD LUCK to you and your family.

Thanks for the comments .. the negative comments don't bother me much ... I thought I should keep them around .. to be more balanced... because to tell the truth .. I did make mistakes here and there that some people have pointed out positively or negatively. I've been very busy with all my three kids going to school now, so have to focus a lot more on getting strong foundations for them... I don't quit cooking .. as I do that almost daily .. just don't have the time for recording, editing, posting it etc. When my youngest is getting a little more independent with study .. then I will have some free time. I actually have some my wife's recipes that I have been wanting to make videos of. It could be a while though. Thanks for watching & your encouragement.
+Juswanto Wardojo I've only just started watching your videos and like Jladybug, fully agree you should do a comeback soon! You are 👌🏻
+Juswanto Wardojo Thank you for the answer. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope that you are not planning to shoot your next video, when your youngest child is graduating. serious.
+Rhea Adwani Thank you.
Great video Han, you make it look easy.
Awesome. I will be trying this with my frozen fillets.
Looks great
I agree the video could be better. I think we lost the camera setting take take into account the type of lighting, hence the yellow tint on the video. I'll make sure camera setting is checked for the next video.
Good video Jarod!
Yes you are right. It's much better with lime or lemon. Not sure about the illegal part. I guess congress has to pass that law making it illegal to eat fish without lime and lemon. Then who's gonna enforce that? :)

Hello
Please improve the video quality thanks! :D
He haven't been active for 5 months : (
you need to spice up your instructions and work on the presentation. I am sure the recipe was good but you seem distracted and somehow tired, I think you have a voice to take advantage of- so use it. Be energetic-feel proud - just relax- the kids are adorable but I was expecting you to be more firm and friendly and focused on what you are cooking, this is the first video for me. I am going to keep on watching.
