Absolutely loved the video! We talked at the show actually and i told you how excited i was to to watch it haha. For the other parts in the greenhouse where background noise is loud you could try captions if you run into the issue again, I’m hearing impaired so i use the captions anyway but the auto generated ones aren’t the best. I know that takes a lot more time though, and we all still get the idea even if the audio is a bit spotty:)

This might be a dumb question but...are the plants at the pop-up already acclimated?? I'm going to one in August and I'm so excited but I have no idea what to expect 😭
Not a dumb question! Since they are coming straight from Ecuador, all the plants are still used to the environment there so you'll need to acclimatize everything once you receive them. I actually have a video about acclimatizing that you might find helpful :) ua-cam.com/video/JICu-T2okpg/v-deo.html
@@unplantparenthood I would if I was in the lower mainland then 😭 I'm from Kelowna so it's not so easy to come down for these events. I hope to at least visit North Shore Tropicals next time I'm in the area
This is the first time I've seen them sell it! They only had one at the show, so I don't think it's something they're really growing in mass numbers (just my guess)!
Honestly I've had some AMAZING specimens when I pre-ordered, but I think if I had to choose, I would want to shop in person. The prices were significantly cheaper at the show and I like that you can inspect everything and pick the one you want!
I am rehabbing three anthurium,,an I have them in no drainage w moss...Am I supost to keep the moss pretty damp for root growth...I also have them in a tote w decent light..Someone tell me how to use the moss???Thank you This is my first tyme propagating in moss.
The moss shouldn't be dripping water but kept slightly damp. I have a whole video on sphagnum moss that you might find helpful! I also talk about moss propagation / use in no drainage vessels in my no drainage part 2 video :)

Whaaaat?? I always recommend clarinervium. It is my easiest anthurium and lives in like 30% humidity 😂
I'm not sure if it's the batches that have been grown or imported here, but SO many people in vancouver struggle with their clarinerviums! 😤

Why would you leave it in bins not planting it in the substrate you’re going to plant it in?
You can plant it in the substrate you like, but leaving them inside of bins as a makeshift greenhouse makes acclimatization so much faster
