Oh I just stumbled across your videos lately and have watched several of them I’m in the process of putting together a motor for circle track racing. We have 2/4 GEN prelude with F 22B dual overhead cam motors the JDM ones. I’m thinking about pulling the heads off of those and putting them on an F 23 block it’s not exactly a G 23 but it seems like it should be an easy Bolton since already made for an F block
Yes it should work, you'll be using your dohc cams/ gears, crank gear. Water pump should be no problem coz you can compare the two. F23 headgasket you might wanna look it closely when you mock it up w/ the head. And for water coolant tube, you'll see what need to be done and good luck to your project and thanks for watching.

I thought about doing this G 23 thing for three years and your videos made it seem so easy it’s time to get busy thank you very much
Tnx pamangkin! You can build one and stuff it on yout EK like l did on Myllie. It'll give you much more torque than your B20. I built a b20vtec way back for my nephew, we put it on his dell sol. That car was flying lol!. Later man
The F23 block is very unique in designed. It almost mimic the bottom end of a K series( main bearings caps). Totally different designed than H series and also l already have 1 H22a4 (55mm)that is also dry iron sleeved and installed onto Snoe Whyte (cd5 Accord). Thought it was a good idea to try other block. I actually have a H22a4 block that has f23 internals and h22 piston in it for NA setup. F23 block is also designed to handle the 97mm crank throw.

Can you use f23 pistons??? Would there be any negatives?
Your acceleration will suffer. Using f23 piston will bring your compression ratio too low, around 8 something.

What head gasket did you use
Honda oem F23a1 headgasket.
If you're paying for sleeves why not use a full h22
