Feel like you need a shield for this
Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me a knife is not a sparring weapon , it is an attack, maim , disable or kill weapon. Watching skillful opponents with knives sparring always looks deadlocked .
You're correct. Knife dueling is completely unrealistic. It's just for fun and developing attributes.

That's the most important philosophy I've learned from over 16+ years of training. Play! Btw, I loved the book, Dune, and the original movie by David Lynch. Haven't seen the new one, though!
