- I had already tried a 701 Enduro but now, finally, I got hold of a 701 Supermoto. Basically the same motorcycle (with some minor changes) but this one is better suited for the track / traffic / normal roads.
What do I think of it? Well, watch me ride the 701 SM for the first time while I share some facts / specs 👌😎

I've had many bikes in my time....all types & I currently have a 1290 gen 3 super duke & my Husky 701 & if I had to choose just 1 bike it would be the 701. I think it's probably the best bike I've had to date.

Sick bike man! Is that upgraded seat really any better than the stock seat? It's quite the eye catcher, not sure if it's for me.
I’d say yes and others can confirm it.
I rode this bike for about an hour and never had any problems. I didn’t knew it was the comfort seat until someone commented that it was. Apparently the stock seat is very thin and uncomfortable.

Would be a fun bike to take out for an afternoon, but it's not something I'd buy. But, I would trade my scooter for it. hahahaha !!!

Does the rear wheel not rise (wheelie on second gear)?
This bike is very strong and lightweight. You can probably do wheelies in all gears 😝

I think all new husqvarna bikes have quickshifters nowadays. Some not up and down though.

Vad är skillnaden på denna och enduro modellen? (förutom däck 🙂 )
enduron väger 1 kilo mindre. har högre fjädring. har högre markavstånd, högre sitthöjd. drar lite mer soppa och släpper ut lite mer co2.

Nix. Du måste lämna in den till en Husqvarna verkstad som mappar om så den stryps ner. Den är så kallad: ”A2 license compatible”
De brukar göras typ digitalt med en dator som de kopplar på. Tar bara nån minut.
Sen när du tar A kortet så kan de bara nappa tillbaka. Smidigt :)

@@МаксимГлотов-г2х Yamaha - один из самых надежных брендов в мире, а двигатель MT07 считается лучшим из всех в Германии по надежности и качеству. сейчас они используют этот двигатель на многих мотоциклах (tenere, mt, xsr и других). поэтому MT07 будет лучшим выбором, когда дело доходит до этого. но хускварна на мой взгляд веселее, но у 701 один цилиндр, а у мт07 два. некоторым не нравится совершать длительные поездки на одном цилиндре.
Is it advisable for a short rider? I'm just 5'6" in height 😞😞
I bealive there is a lowering kit for this bike and also you can lower the suspension from the triple clamp that will help too.
I'm 5'7'' and it's no problem really. So think you should be fine. Takes a bit to get used to the height when you stop and put down feet etc. Gotta be a bit careful and make sure the ground is flat hehe
Also when mounting, you get on it while it's still on the stand and then your put up the stand whilst mounted.
I ride a Yamaha T7 daily and it's also a tall bike but it's no problem also.

The quickshifter gets better over time. But I still get false neutrals at times. But yeah, After a couple of thousand kilometers now I use the quickshifter about 80% of the time when going through the gears..
And the sound is waaaaaay better with a custom exhaust. As one might expect :D
To be honest, I think the supermoto with slightly nobbier tires (like mine with the Pirelly Rally Scorpion STR) is away more fun bike unless you want to go into deep mud and sand and want to ride over tree roots going 50km/h. For the trails the setup I have is pretty decent. ;)
..wait was that with an Akra exhaust? Don't remember the original can having a carbon tip...
Finally I was able to test ride "your" bike hehe =)
Those QS stats doesn't sound that good though 4/5 times it works.... hmmm. Thats why I tend to stick with clutchless shifting. It's so imprinted in my spine now so I do them without thinking. Sometimes I do them without thinking whilst riding cruiser bikes, don't think its super good to do them on those, not sure =P
Yeah you could switch tyres and for a more 50/50 experience but the enduro model is a bit taller and has larger suspension so when you do go off-road you can do it all the way ;)
Yeah I think it was the Akrapovič "Slip-on Line" mounted. Many dealers put slip-ons on their demo bikes so customers enjoys the bike more than the "vacuum cleaner" sound the bikes normally have hehe

Hi@Dark Visor. Can you help me with some advise. Iam and old ride but now want to try some off-road stuff. Is this a good start out bike (with nubby tiers) or should i go for an easier bike like Honda crf 300l. Any thoughts. Love from Gothenburg Sweden🇸🇪

@@theurbanway10 I think you will pretty fast miss the lack of power with a 300. The 701 feels powerful which is nice to have off-road
@@theurbanway10 if you even can get your hands on a Honda 300, I looked in to it at spring and they where sold out.(Sweden) But I bought a ktm 690 enduro instead and I love it.
Nice vid!i have a question ,i just recently got my a1 license and i cannot chose between 2 motorcycles,the ktm duke 125 and the yamaha mt 125 ,do you have experience with them?Do you recommend either of them?
Yamaha is a more reliable brand with better reputation. I'd pick Yamaha over KTM any day of the week.

I actually did my a1 license about one month ago.
I also was in the same inner dabate you are in right now and ive gone with the MT because for me personally it looks and drives better. For reference I had a KTM duke in my driving academy so I think I can compare them quite good. In my opinion the MT drives better because the gearbox feels a lot better due to that anti hopping clutch which only on the 2022 or 23 Dukes as far as i know. So in the end its the Question do you want to have the Tech that the Duke offers or the slightly better feel the MT provides.
I daily commute in the city and also go to different tracks frequently so the 701 Supermoto was a far better choice. How is the comfort seat?
Yeah the 701 SM would be perfect for that.
One of my dark visor moto crew members have this bike and takes it for work etc. it’s size etc makes it easy to just park next to the bicycles. Weighs little and not that wide.
Don’t know how the comfort seat feels like. The normal/stock seat works fine but I can’t speak for any longer travels.
