What a beautiful testimony of God's goodness and grace in the form of His strength and resilience as the salamander.
I was blessed to stay at the Salamander Hotel in Washington, DC for my birthday this past May (in which I was excited to stay because of her) and I always wanted to know why she named her properties "Salamander," now I know and I'm so proud of her definition. It truly describes my own life journey.

For those who haven't been. Salamander in Middleburg is just such an amazing and beautiful place. From the ground to the rooms to the food and overall ambiance it's just amazing. Her properties in DC and the Caribbean are equally amazing. Certainly worth the visit for any of her properties, she curates an amazing experience.
