In the custom shortcut area one of the options is to apply crop ratio vs apply style. The custom style for a crop does work too but they do give you this option for crops out of the box. I use the number pad to apply crops from 4:5, 1:1, 16:9. Also seeing up a shortcut to flip the crop orientation between horizontal and vertical or just to reset saves a lot of time.
I too have shortcuts for cropping. I shoot sports and only use 3 crops, 2x3, 3x4 and 16x9, using S D and F keys. The only thing I would like to have is a 4x3 shortcut, as currently I have to use the 3x4 crop and rotate it. Fantastic video, many thanks.
Thanks Kevin for creating and sharing your knowledge within Capture One. I am relatively new to C1 and I have found this information extremely helpful. Do you use Keywords within your workflow and if so, how do you accomplish this. I am heavy into key-words so I use Excire Foto along with C1 to key-word every image that I have. Cheers, Keith (Barrie, Ontario)
I'm not big on keywording, no, since I tend to use sessions and not catalogue. Excire looks great but you can't select which drive to install it on last I tried and that doesn't work for me.
The AI masking update means I need to update my custom style for headshots. Thankfully an easy fix. C1 isn’t perfect but to me it’s a more professional workflow than other software.

The most useful vid I have seen so far. Great work!
Thanks, I'm really happy to hear it!

This is great to know! Sometimes I make things more complicated than they need to be. I'll definitely make a video about this.
