This should be Kevin’s dream review for him and all the Ritz! What a ripoff that the buttery ones are same as original. I think these companies think people are just dumb and would never figure their slyness out. I’m glad y’all keep em on their toes! Great review
This was the BEST video!! Honestly laughed outloud several times, love seeing Kevin so happy with his favorite crackers. Tammy, we do need to get you some “Eau de Ritz” !! 🧴😂
I think I remember as a kid the Ritz was all loose in the box. I could be wrong and it was some other brand like sunshine. I do know I used to love to eat them with cream cheese
When Ritz changed production to Mexico I noticed they crumble way too easily. Did Kevin notice that? Maybe your location is different. I heard it depends on your region whether you get American made or Mexican made. You can't put anything on top of them because they just fall apart.
You reviewed the flavored ones just two years ago, because I looked at that review before I bought the garlic butter just recently. Wonder if the recipe changed because you seemed to like them more here. I’ve been working through my box and love them. Like Olive Garden breadstick!! I always eat Ritz on their own. They’re so salty and buttery that I never think to pair, though I like the PB sandwich crackers they make.
That's really strange. My friend and I did the exact same taste challenge and we could tell the difference between the regular and The buttery-er. I wonder if we are super tasters?! Lol I guess we are all different but it was fun to try. Since there's no price difference will continue to buy them but once they are sold out we won't miss them. They're good but so are regular Ritz. But you really have me excited to try the garlic and everything flavors! Got them added to my Walmart cart online!
Just bought the garlic butter Ritz crackers for the first time today at Walmart 😊 going to try it with pepper jelly and cream cheese! Went to your page first for the review ❤
Ritz are so good!!! The OG are my go to but I have tried the other flavors… I think they had an extra butter one a few years ago? I also love triacuits wheat thins, club, townhouse etc… I like even several of the generic brands of crackers… but NO generic ritz type has ever been worth eating!!!
So it’s the exact same situation like with the “new” Chips Ahoy. I also find it interesting they are both made by Nabisco. Perhaps there has been a noticeable slump in sales and they are releasing these “new” versions to try to revitalize interest in the brand and increase sales.
I use to get the Everything and loved them. I just eat carb sparingly more now and would take forever for me to go through a whole box by myself. The original is best with just peanut butter. You could also make that toffee candy with these instead of saltines. Really good. I also took the butteryer off my Walmart shopping cart. Thanks.
Did you happen to notice where each box was made? In our area, regular Ritz is made in America, while all other flavors are made in Mexico. The Mexican Ritz look the same, but break way too easily when trying to put anything on them. And you are absolutely correct that the boxes are smaller than they used to be. They used to be 16oz, and seemed to have shrunk to 13.7oz around the time they were outsourced to Mexico, which was in 2016.
They had the extra butter ones out before; I couldn't tell the difference either! My mom made me sandwiches with plain bologna as a kid. It's been probably ~15 years since I've eaten it, but I still haven't forgotten the flavor... You can't really 😂
My stores carry all the different flavors, however, buy your fave flavor as it might be a while before restocking. Preferred flavors are garlic and vegetable. Still love melba toast and hard to find. When I do, stock up till I see them again. Excellent review as always.
Like minds. I made chicken tenders for some visiting kids and used the veg Ritz. They loved it. A keeper for feeding kids an easy meal that they will eat and not fuss.
I always enjoy the blind taste tests. I find it interesting that in the ingredients list for the buttery Ritz, nowhere does it say that it contains butter. btw, may I suggest a healthy & delicious dip to put on a Ritz is Hummus. I usually eat my Ritz this way.
Thank you for doing this review and the blind taste test. 😊 . You will save me money. I eat ritz all the time and for most everything. And I know not to waste my money on the Buttery-er. Ritz. 😊😊😊
Ritz needs to sponsor Kevin! I am so disappointed. I was hoping the buttery was really going to stand out. I love putting peanut butter on a Ritz. Wait……I didn’t know they had garlic bologna????? I loved a fried bologna sandwich. I’m going to get the Garlic Butter. It sounds delicious! Thanks for a great review.
Putting on the Ritz 😅. Personally speaking, I found your cast soothing. I use Ritz with cheese and a cold cut. Just cheese is fine as well. I use RITZ as a taste tester tool from spaghetti, chili, chicken soup, stew, etc. I also it use Ritz crackers just as a plain snack. My favorite is garlic butter. Sometimes it can be vegetable flavored. Nothing beats the original in dips, spreads, cheeses.... except butter garlic...just saying
This comparison was SOOO interesting... I really value you and Kevin doing this. It's a shame they approve products to go on the shelves without the flavor hitting!
Those garlic ones with a port wine cheeseball is chefs kiss

Kevin really enjoyed it 😄
The buttery one is a little bit more buttery I definitely tasted a difference but I prefer the original.
This was the BEST video!! Honestly laughed outloud several times, love seeing Kevin so happy with his favorite crackers. Tammy, we do need to get you some “Eau de Ritz” !! 🧴😂
😄
I have to agree with Kevin the Ritz crackers are the best. I like peanut butter spread on them and I can eat them plain. They’re the best.
I think I remember as a kid the Ritz was all loose in the box. I could be wrong and it was some other brand like sunshine. I do know I used to love to eat them with cream cheese

We have noticed that some crumble, but we haven’t paid attention to where they were made.
Ritz n P B yummy.
Thanks so much for a terrific review!
Have a sunny n bright day.
Thank you! You too! 🌸🪻
I love blind taste test! Ritz can do no wrong
Thank you 😊

Oh, I still like them 😃

The garlic & everything are delicious.
I loved the RITZ Fudge Covered Holiday Crackers... I wonder if they will ever come back
We see them every December.
@@TamiDunn I will have to stock up on them this holiday… Thanks for the info
This was a fun video! Thanks a bunch 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love how happy Ritz crackers make Kevin 😅
I missed this fun video ❤
The Everything are so good!
Just bought the garlic butter Ritz crackers for the first time today at Walmart 😊 going to try it with pepper jelly and cream cheese! Went to your page first for the review ❤
Sounds great!

Nabisco knows how to make a great cracker 😃
So it’s the exact same situation like with the “new” Chips Ahoy. I also find it interesting they are both made by Nabisco. Perhaps there has been a noticeable slump in sales and they are releasing these “new” versions to try to revitalize interest in the brand and increase sales.
That wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Great review
Thank you 😃
9:50 you crack me up. The everything and the garlic sounds fantastic. I too am a Ritz fan. Love it with brie or tuna mayo. Thanks for the review.
The everything is so amazing.
I use to get the Everything and loved them. I just eat carb sparingly more now and would take forever for me to go through a whole box by myself. The original is best with just peanut butter. Believe it or not, the box of everything is already gone! 😄
@@TamiDunn Haha... I can, If I could, the same would happen here.
This is Kevin’s dream review
It is 😄

The everything or the garlic ones would be great as a chicken breading or a binder for meatloaf
Ooh, you are right!
Like minds. I made chicken tenders for some visiting kids and used the veg Ritz. They loved it. A keeper for feeding kids an easy meal that they will eat and not fuss.
Try the low sodium Ritz. The lower salt lets the butter flavor really stand out more. Crazy but it's true!
I always enjoy the blind taste tests. I find it interesting that in the ingredients list for the buttery Ritz, nowhere does it say that it contains butter. btw, may I suggest a healthy & delicious dip to put on a Ritz is Hummus. I usually eat my Ritz this way.
Thank you for the suggestion 😃
Been waiting for this one! Good to know the buttery-er ones aren't worth the buy.
Nah, just stick with their original 😃
Good morning Tammy and Kevin I love the blind taste test I like Ritz cracker have a blessed 😅
Thank you 😊
If you have a Kroger near you, they have a brand of pepper jelly called ragin’ cajun. It’s delicious. So good in a ritz cracker
Thank you for letting us know!
Ritz Crakers Are Absolutely Awesome & Delicious To Eat!!!
Yes they are!
Thank you for doing this review and the blind taste test. 😊 . You will save me money. I eat ritz all the time and for most everything. And I know not to waste my money on the Buttery-er. Ritz. 😊😊😊
I’m glad this helped 😃
It Did tami. Thank you. Have a,safe and happy memorial Day

I was raised on Fischer’s garlic bologna. You had to pull the red ring off the outside before putting it on your sandwich.
@@TamiDunn mine has the red ring, but it was Oscar Meyer. I haven’t heard of that brand. I was missing out.

nice to see the blind taste test returns 😅 you can’t beat the original flavour
I make those peanut butter sandwich & dip in chocolate & white chocolate
We love making those too!
Either pb or cheese wiz on ritz is yummy. Sometimes I will put pb and then a little bit of jam on it
This comparison was SOOO interesting... I really value you and Kevin doing this. It's a shame they approve products to go on the shelves without the flavor hitting!
I’m so glad this helped 😃
Apart from the laughs! I would get any of these 🤣🤣 and I was not expecting any difference between the two...
You can’t beat a Ritz cracker 😃
Ritz is the only brand I buy lol 🤷🏻♀️❤️👏
They are the best 😃
I miss the bacon flavored Ritz.
The buttery one is a little bit buttery but I prefer the original.
