I’m glad I’m not the only one who shakes as much as Gooch when I shoot a deer!
I was thinking the same thing!! I was like...Dang Gooch, get some meat on your bones, your knees are rattling.
Not so many haters this time round! You all know how to get it done. You put your heads down and grind it out. Forget the haters and keep on The Hunting Public boys keep on. There are way more of us that enjoy watching and learning from your videos than criticizing and knit picking your living in the moments.
It’s good this buck didn’t hear them talking as it wasn’t as close as the last one. As for your loved comment, I think you’re being a little over dramatic in that no one was “hating” on them for that last video. Criticism and hate are not the same. Be real, not a fanboy.

Mics are sensitive and pick up noise better than we naturally hear it, and then they crank it up so you can hear them. Did you also not see how windy it was last video? The deer didn’t hear them. Quit spreading that false narrative
Spp, the only ignorant one is you I’m guessing. Let’s see....it was windy. How did the deer who was not in their wind, wind them? Picking up what I’m putting down? Ok. Now if you watch the video, they are talking like a couple ladies and as they were speaking the deer looked at them as if he heard them. I assume it’s because he did. I don’t give a shit how much you think you know about audio recording, fact is, if they were whispering that quiet that the mic could just barely pick them up, they wouldn’t have been able to hear each other being that they were much farther apart from each other than their own mics...and it was windy to boot. The deer heard them. Get over it sunshine and go produce something honest.

Hello guys, I’m 13 and love hunting. I’m going hunting Wednesday this week. I already seen 3 does on 2 hunts. You guys really inspire me to go out and hunt public land with my dad. I learned the milk weed trick with the wind. I used it last hunt. Keep up the great videos. One of my hunts is on my channel.

Another awesome hunt for the THP crew! I am enjoying all the ground hunting. It shows all hunters that success can be had with both feet on the the ground. For all the aging hunters that don't like getting in a tree, the ground game is a great option. I think it is great that you show the rollercoaster that is hunting. Thanks for keeping it real.

I'm amazed that with all the deer you see, you can remember seeing that particular deer 2 years ago. You guys are having a fantastic year! Those higher weight and FOC arrows are performing well! I've thought about carrying my deer also, Gooch may have inspired me! Lol!! 👍🦌🏹

Totally awesome experience 😎! For most guys this would've never came together. It'd be considered a success if they even seen anything. It's gotta alot to do with how you guy's scout and interpret the sign and movement. Just really special to see it come together semi-live and couldn't happen to better guy's! Congratulations!

I love how you guys hunt from the ground and get that eye level footage. It's how I roll. I can't remember the last time I sat 20 feet up a tree. Might of been 6 years ago. Great shot! Loved the adrenaline shakes and excitement. Gets me pumped up!

I absolutely love watching y’all never a disappointing episode.
Idea for y'all: take a more in-depth video on your shot placement and what organs you hit after each deer you shoot. Then post the video to Instagram or Facebook since that's a no-no on UA-cam. You guys say that you try to get the shots on camera to educate the viewers...well, educate us!
They also educate you how to take off running at full speed immediately after you hit the deer. SMH. STUPID!!!

Congrats Jake, nice buck and its great when a plan comes together. Hey Gooch a little advice next time you want to throw a deer on your back or shoulders you might want to make sure you have some kind of orange on. Some people can't see how a deer moves just that its deer, be safe.

I've never tried to carry an adult deer out on my back, I did it one time with a yearling, it was a pretty cool feeling. Gooch is the MAN! Anybody that wants to carry my deer out for me is welcome on any of my hunts but I doubt my hunts wohld be nearly as exciting as what you guys put out. Way to go on another great hunt!

I quarter and backpack all my Blacktail deer out here in remote Alaska, I know you guys do that some as well, But I have seen Deer packed out whole where the front legs go up over your shoulders, Hind legs underneath and tied to the fronts and you essentially wear the deer like a backpack. Could be worth a try! Great stuff keep it comin

just got back from the derby humeston area where i own 125 acres put a few cameras up and saw a few nice bucks but nothing like passed years in early Nov. theres still alot of standing corn and warm weather with the full moon kept deer locked down in cover with does it seemed hunting late muzzleloader cant wait.

That one side almost has a mulie look to it with double forks. I think many of us get too hung up on tree stands, or ground blinds, and don't consider just a natural back drop close to a funnel area and in this case, a scrape line. Bucks do lose their minds when love is in the air. Sometimes one can just come out of nowhere and fall in your lap. Good to wait for clear shot and vital V does it again. Carrying it out on your shoulders. ha. That was great!

Great...59 years old and will be trying to carry a big northern MN buck out of the woods on my shoulders this year. Hopefully the wife will be consoled by a large life insurance check after my heart attack.

I carried out a small doe a mile, on one of my last videos. And man it was not that bad. Only thing was I got a pinched nerve in my neck the next day lol. You gotta be an absolute beast to be carring that stud and distance. Congrats.
