I love your style of videography, with camera and the drone. You leave the camera on subject long enough to actually see what you are showing us. Safe travels
Cheers, yeah our main focus overall is the scenery. That’s why a lot of the time Chris films forward when he’s talking and walking around instead of his face the whole time. Happy that you enjoy that aspect 😀👍
I watch a lot of videos and y'all are the best with really showing us the scenery and telling us some interesting facts about the area. Carol, I have to give it to you for how comfortable you are in front of the camera now. I saw you taking over the vlog when Chris was sick and you & your brother went to the beach on that island off coast of Brazil. I was so proud of you! I've been watching y'all since the lockdown in the Philippines. Since then I don't miss any of your videos and don't skip the ads for y'all's channel. And of course give a like for every video! Unfortunately that's all i can do nowadays.
I am very happy to travel to Florida with you through this video, a US state full of sunshine! Today we have another cold wave coming here. I am so envious to see you having such beautiful weather in Miami! Being able to bring food directly up that train is so luxurious! I didn’t expect you didn’t forget about such a small country ~ Taiwan, you are awesome! The beaches and buildings there are so beautiful, I really want to have a house there, haha! Thanks a lot for sharing, really super great job! 👍🥰🙌
Welcome back to my backyard. The Brightline train only hits the speeds above 100 mph north of Jupiter to Cocoa. Between Cocoa and Orlando airport it will travel up to the 125 mph. Thank you for videos and enjoy yourselves as always! You guys really need to come back and do a longer Florida trip and see both coasts plus northern Florida and the Keys. Our state's ecological diversity is incredible!
This is why this channel is a top tier travel channel: there’s always some thing a little bit different than what we’ve seen before. The train and Miami looked beautiful. Did the lady on the train compliment Carol’s hair? I’m sure she hears that a lot. I haven’t been to Miami in decades so this video was a treat.
As a Taiwanese living in California, I really miss Taiwan's high-speed rail. Watching your video, I felt like I was traveling with you to sunny Florida. Thanks for sharing such amazing content, truly fantastic work! Keeping my fingers crossed that California's high-speed rail projects will be just as smooth and ready by 2028.
You do know you have to and from station whether in Florida or CAHSR. I never took HSR in Taiwan, but at least you don't need car in Taipei. That's the reason even Taiwanese American oppose this useless CAHSR
Good thing about this channel is thay they don’t rush things just so they can publish a video. They take their time to be able to give us the best shots and the best exposure/representation of the places they are in.
We took the BrightLine in December from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale to catch a cruise ship. What a great experience! BrightLine even booked an Uber for use from the train station to the cruise terminal. We love watching your adventures. We are planning a cruise on the Amazon in 2025 after watching your videos!
Had to laugh seeing Carol coming out of the train lounge with enough snacks to pay for the seat upgrade, now Chris just needs to rent that corvette so Carol can enjoy driving around in a fun ride....she is the driver. Used to live in Miami so hope you guys get to Monty's for the happy hour. I'm from Vegas and Brightline building their rail from Vegas to the LA area will be a big help on traffic flow. A big fan of high speed rail after living in Asia for several years. They do it right.
Love the new Osprey bags, Craig has had his for years, an airline in South America broke the chasis and Osprey replaced the entire base and repaired it. It’s great that you get all that food with your train tickets but crazy that Uber was faster 😅 does look nice and relaxing though, you both did well with the food and alcohol. 38 minutes to eat and drink a days worth!
The time of the day vastly changes the travel time of Uber or cars. As of 10am on 1/20/2024, it will be 54 minutes to travel on tolls from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. With no tolls, it will be 1hr 35 minutes.
Omg they are in my hometown in this episode!!!! I love these two. I live in EU and always watch them for nearby travel. It's neat to seem them in Florida.
I'd say SO BE probably stands for SOUTH BEACH, but i may be wrong. It made me laugh to see Carol wear her winter jacket when it was 23C😂. You can take the girl out of Brazil- but you can't...😂😂 23 is like high summer here in England 😂😂😂
Great vlog as usual. Lived in Miami and loved it. Now in Jax Beach, more laid back and better surf but nothing compares to Miami! And it’s where I met my Brazilian wife.
The Wicked Weed Pernicious IPA you had on the train, is brewed in Asheville NC, where my Brazilian-American wife and I live (she's from Miami). It's hoppy and not a seasonal beer. Hops is known as the "pernicious weed" from a middles ages literary quotation. The Wicked Weed craft brewery was purchased a few years ago by INBEV , which was Brahma Beer Corp owned by Brazilians that have since moved the operation to Europe. The executive team of INBEV are all Brazilians from Rio. The best value for the Brightline train is going to Orlando from south Florida or vide a versa. The train line opened very recently.
I live in the USA and always find it fascinating that people from all over the world prefer shopping in the USA for electronics and certain goods due to the high tariffs and taxes in their home countries. I have been to both Fort Lauderdale and Miami a long time ago. I drove though. I think taking that luxury train would be more fun.
1:21 I have the same bag and I absolutely love it! Welcome back to the states guys, I’m excited to see what you will be sharing in regards to upcoming travel plans🙌🏽
I was in Miami once, the night before our cruise. I didn’t book the lodging and man oh man was it sketchy!!! Nothing like the beautiful spot you were in😂. We had to call 911 at 3 am when someone tried to kick our door in. Havent wanted to ever go back there since.
I love your videos, the train ride is cool for sightseeing rather than driving and the drinks and food is great for the cost the ticket. Enjoy your stay in Florida.
SOBE - south beach. That beach club you were passing by - looks like Nikki’s. On that promenade by the marina there’s a nice steakhouse Smith&Wollensky. You can sit and watch the cruise ships from there. You should check out the Cuban neighborhood - Calle Ocho if you’re still there.
Lovely nice video. I am a local Floridian from Tampa. so it is about an hour and 40mins to the Orlando Brightline station. I look forward to trying it soon!
Welcome to the US. Floridais definitely be the place to be at this time of year. I am in deepfreeze in Michigan. By the way, SOBE stands for South Beach. 🙂
Welcome back to America. Miami is amazing, have fun! Your channel is amazing. Would love to see you guys drive across the US from coast to coast! I think that would be great content.
the US for many decades now has ignored its railway and other infrastructure systems unfortunately but it’s nice to see some things getting done and becoming more modern
Nice job showcasing Miami in a new way, the drone shots really add to seeing the water and palm trees well. It's a really unique area to be connected to the mainland U.S. Glad u were able to stock up on things-all good re-investments into your channel. SOBE btw is short for South Beach ;)
Nice to see you in my backyard. Some great information on the Brighline train that I didn't know. I believe in the city the train has a slower speed. There are boat tours originating from Bayside in downtown Miami that showcase those waterfront mansions.👍🏝
Glad to see you guys try the Brightline, I wanted to take the train when I lasted visited Fort Lauderdale/Broward for work but didn't have time (and I had a rental car) and soon enough, it will make its way to California where I'm at. Definitely, its wise for you guys to buy some essentials while in the US, and in Florida where the tax is on the cheaper side. Chris, you need to get your license back!
I live just north of Orlando and I’ve already been on the train three times, really enjoy it and if you look for specials and buy a bit ahead , it’s a lot less expensive.
Plus 23 degrees Celsius during a winter vacation in Miami,Florida, must be very pleasant.enjoy the beaches and a bit of the hustle and bustle of the city!😊
Love America so much. Without a doubt the most diverse, beautiful, rich, powerful, innovative and influential country in history and present of the world. By the way there are a lot of great beaches in Florida (not only Miami) but also in the Keys, in the Panhandle (Pensacola, Destin, Rosemary Beach), Naples, Sarasota, Clearwater, Siesta Key, Lido Key and many more. USVI, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Midway Islands, Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Palmyra Atoll, Palau and many more Islands beaches outside the continental USA are Top notch world class beaches. USA actually have the highest amount of beaches among the 50 world’s best with 5
Thanks for another great video 💕 You reminded me of some good times I had when I lived in Orlando years ago. Also, inspired me to re-up to an Osprey bag for an upcoming trip to Bavaria 🎉
Stayed in that area of south beach many times. Absolutely wonderful. Hope you ate at the Big Pink, just down the block from your hotel. Great food. Great area to enjoy.
Same here Carol, i’d get my moneys worth if food & drinks is included👍🏼. We went to Miami Sobe last Nov. There was plenty to do aside from lounging on the beach. They have great outlet malls for shopping😉 and experience a variety of culinary delights- mostly Latin America.
Miami is unbearably humid in summer. Great place to spend winter, though. I think San Diego is best in all of the USA for weather. It would be my first choice to live if i was American.
"SoBe" is short for "South Beach". Ive been following your channel since the beginning and youre in my back yard. how cool. It would be awesome to meet you guys! Love your channel
It seems like you really enjoyed the Miami scene and weather! I don't recall seeing you two do the Florida Keys? The Keys are awesome! Cool history like the Flagler railroad and the hurricane, etc., Crane Point, the key deer, Key Lime Pie.... It has a super vibe... kinda Caribbean, but in the USA!
Hey, welcome me back for now. I have avoided your videos for the last 6 months, as I was getting tired of beaches, the ocean, that kind of content. I do love the beaches but wanted a break. I think you were putting out 2 videos a week, a bit much for me. i enjoyed the train ride ,different, lots of snacks/food, and drinks. Chris sure liked the Samuel Adams. Good to see and Hear you.
Loved the 2008 trip to Miami ,south beach ,it's gorgeous to see got sun burn in 1 hour at the beach ,both me and my wife. Only bad experience was ,price gouging .two slices and two cans soda ,25,00 watch out for this ,a cab driver parked close to a post in front of hotel ,so when we got out ,claimed we knocked his door ,and tried getting us to pay.,🧐 your video is beutifull and informative thanks for sharing.
Brightline maxes out at 79 mph from West Palm Beach to Miami. Head up north from West Palm Beach to Orlando, will be predominantly 110mph or even 125 mph for a brief section from Cocoa to Orlando. Fort Lauderdale to Miami Uber times can vastly vary. As of 10am on 1/20/2024, it will be 54 minutes to travel on tolls from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. With no tolls, it will be 1hr 35 minutes. Miami drivers are also very aggressive as well, not a pleasant experience to drive in South Florida.
Yeah we figured that at the time of our train there must have been no traffic for it to show that time. The Brightline ride is also an experience in itself, uber rides are boring lol
@@JumpingPlaces I agree, I always take Brightline whenever I am down in South Florida. You should ride Premium to Miami to West Palm Beach or vice versa when the ticket prices are reasonable. They come around with the cart 2x. One between Miami to Fort Lauderdale and another between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach (not sure about when they are busy, but that is my usual experience). Plus, the West Palm Beach to Orlando section, they usually serve some kind of complimentary sandwich meal. It is good, but I heard from the staff that the menu selection will get much better in the future. The ticket price for Orlando Premium is much more than the South Florida prices though. Plus, the Miami and Orlando Premium lounges good options are much better than the in-between stations (West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura).
We went to Miami for the first time in 1972 then the population was Jewish retired people mainly from NYC and young Cubans had a fantastic bus service the beaches were OK but nearly empty. We had an apartment in Key Biscayne in the 90, up until 2009 it’s a great area and being a key it was full of apartments mainly owned by foreigners from Latin America who when things started getting bad in their country would come to the US. It’s great at this time of the year but try August very hot and humid and rains a lot.In the end though Miami has two things beach and shopping ya esta.
Very nice way to travel! We recently did this train from Orlando to Ft Lauderdale (did not know about the elite class)We were thinking about doing it again to Miami but will compare with Uber prices. Our travel was very comfortable- I think it will get more popular. Looking forward to seeing Miami
Wish we had longer on the train like you guys, definitely is a great train. If they can make it faster with better tracks implemented im pretty sure it will blow up
I just bought a ticket a few weeks ago from Orlando to Miami and paid $22 each way for it. Of course it was not premium, but I can bring my own snacks. Keep an eye out on the website for specials.
You guys are the best! Love the wit & vibe of your channel. Enjoy Miami & it's delicious food! Now I need some Cuban food..... We'll be in Ft Lauderdale next Saturday & I can't wait to board the Celebrity Ascent on Sunday. This old body needs some vitamin sea..... hahaha! Love Michell

Hi chris sir Carol mam I m new subscriber of your channel from India.....I'm very happy to see your videos frm America.....wow it's so awesome..... amazing.......i remember my childhood when we Shaw a tv program frm Florida and world Disney......
Congratulations to you guys to rides on this amazing train in Florida January of 2024❤❤❤I wish you guys safe journeys & good luck to arrives in Little Havana, Miami, Florida January of 2024❤❤❤
Welcome to Florida 🎉😊. Thanks for showing me Miami. I've only been there once; I didn't like it. Too much construction when I was down there in 2015. I look forward to hopping on the Brightline just to traverse thru my state. Enjoy your stay.😊
Yeah if a place has weather that good in winter it means the summer must be hell lol, In brazil its the same where we live... the summers are way too much.
Hi, just watched the Miami video looks great, my husband just said I wonder what camera you are filming with, it looks so lovely and clear, obviously the Miami weather helps 😎
No South Beach temps around here, looks great. I did the DC-Boston train several years ago, getting off in Connecticut from DC. Unfortunately I got an older and slower train; not a great experience. The Brightline looks very nice.
I bought about a month in advance from Orlando to Miami for the first time on Brightline for $22 special each way, but it’s not premium but so what I can take my own snacks !
You can't drink in the Uber either...well at least not legally LOL The LA - Las Vegas line has been talked about for years now. It'll be great if they ever build it 🤷♀
Yeah would be awesome if the U.S had more trains like this around, if they could get the real high speed tracks laid out this kind of transport will blow up
This train hits the higher speeds when it’s out of the mega cities, such as once it’s out of the airport area from Orlando. It usually hits the higher speeds until it gets closer to the larger city of West Palm.
I’m betting you were in Miami around the same time I was. We were only there for 1 night though as we were heading out on a cruise to Jamaica and the Bahamas. Would have been fun to see you and say Hi
Question:- How come you guys are always so chill with each other? We have been to many places where you have been too but I remember lots of spats between the wife and myself. Two of you are always in good mood? 🙂
Miami is known as the gateway to South American countries. A little movie trivia, across the street from where you both are staying Brian De Palma shot some of the opening scenes from his movie Scarface!!
I like this new high speed train from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. I would prefer this way of travel vs. riding the Uber car. You’re comfortable in your seat. There’s also the offer of cold cuts, pastries and drinks just like in an airplane. Very nice and clean too. I would love to try that when I’m in either Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Are you assigned with a seat number or you just choose any seats?
Cool deal on the train, and with all the beer and wine and snacks you can handle ☺ hehe! You wouldn,t have that in an uber 😂😂 It.s a bit funny, cause I follow another vloger who usually stays in Miami and NYC. And he's in Taiwan at the moment. Funny that you mentioned Taiwan. Thank you for the tour around Miami, its beautiful. Take care you two ♥♥

Another Awesome Adventure Chris & Carol 🙂❤👍Watching from New Brunswick Canada🙂
Yeah if a place has weather that good in the winter, it means it is hell in the summer lol. Rio de janeiro is the same.
Very nice video, I really excited to see more videos from Miami 😍, Nice hair style Carol
Great seeing you both on the BRIGHTLINE , 1st class looks amazing for included buffet & beer 🍺 ! Self serve beer 😮
Go to the end of Collins avenue, that’s where Scarface movie opened up-south beach with the shower scene… great show.
we show that building in the next video and comment about it :D
You guys are the best! Love the wit & vibe of your channel. Enjoy Miami & it's delicious food! Now I need some Cuban food..... We'll be in Ft Lauderdale next Saturday & I can't wait to board the Celebrity Ascent on Sunday. This old body needs some vitamin sea..... hahaha! Love Michell
Cool! where are you going on the cruise?
San Juan, Tortola & St. Kitt. I would love to run into you guys in the Caribbean but I know you're making your next moves. We're going to Spain in the Falll so I hope you guys head back over there! @@JumpingPlaces
I didn't even know they had high speed rail. Pretty cool
Love Carol's hair as well.
Thanks!
Great video guys… really enjoyed the drone footage 🤗👍
Welcome to Florida! I have offered you to stay at our place in Ubatuba, BR (Mar Virado) in the past. We live on Amelia Island, FL. You ought to film our beatiful island sometime and come in March (every year) during The Amelia Concours! Beautiful cars from all over the world are here at the Ritz Carlton. Tchau!
Amelia Island looks beautiful indeed :D You have places in cool locations!
Hi chris sir Carol mam

Welcome aboard :D
Congratulations to you guys to rides on this amazing train in Florida January of 2024❤❤❤I wish you guys safe journeys & good luck to arrives in Little Havana, Miami, Florida January of 2024❤❤❤
Welcome to Florida 🎉😊. Thanks for showing me Miami. I've only been there once; I didn't like it. Too much construction when I was down there in 2015. I look forward to hopping on the Brightline just to traverse thru my state. Enjoy your stay.😊
Would have been cool if we did a longer commute :D
@@JumpingPlaces yea maybe Miami to Orlando 🤔
Summers in Fla is rough by my standards just wait too hot and humid. I will tolerate a little freezing and cold season for nicer summers
It was a nice experience, wish we had gone on the longer rides available
Wow thx for this……. I wondered about this service as we have direct flights to MCO & I was considering taking the train to get down south…..
I would do it for the experience, it's really cool! Surprised that they have the option for an all inclusive style ride with the food and drink
Wow very nice train watching from 🇨🇦
Hi guys great to hear you like So. Fla just an FYI (SOBE) stands for South Beach ! > Norm from now Crystal River/Beverly Hills Fla.
Thanks for the info :D
Carol loves her food. Good on ya gal. 😁👍
So good
I bought about a month in advance from Orlando to Miami for the first time on Brightline for $22 special each way, but it’s not premium but so what I can take my own snacks !
You can't drink in the Uber either...well at least not legally LOL
The LA - Las Vegas line has been talked about for years now. It'll be great if they ever build it 🤷♀
Yeah would be awesome if the U.S had more trains like this around, if they could get the real high speed tracks laid out this kind of transport will blow up
South Beach is FUN! Love a guys-the BEST!
We need a high speed train in the Philippines though. 👍🇵🇭 good news re the Vegas-LA line. 😊
Yes would be good there, i think indonesia just got their first bullet train
This train hits the higher speeds when it’s out of the mega cities, such as once it’s out of the airport area from Orlando. It usually hits the higher speeds until it gets closer to the larger city of West Palm.
Hi Chris and Carol, you said you're taking a High speed train from Fort Lauderdale to Miami on bright line?
Sobe means South Beach....and I love your hair too!!!
thanks for the info :D
Fort Lauderdale native here. Enjoy your stay!
Nice! Seems like the beach is awesome there too right?
@@JumpingPlaces They are. Pompano and Hollywood Beach are nice, but Miami Beach is even nicer. You chose well!
Sunny Isles Beach is also very nice but quieter than South Beach.
I’m betting you were in Miami around the same time I was. We were only there for 1 night though as we were heading out on a cruise to Jamaica and the Bahamas. Would have been fun to see you and say Hi
The amenities are worth the price alone. You also get more space than an Uber or flight.
Question:- How come you guys are always so chill with each other? We have been to many places where you have been too but I remember lots of spats between the wife and myself. Two of you are always in good mood? 🙂
Seems like you were referring to Star Island with the mansions.
Its the ones that we showed int he drone shot after we mentioned that, maybe that is star island?
Miami is known as the gateway to South American countries. A little movie trivia, across the street from where you both are staying Brian De Palma shot some of the opening scenes from his movie Scarface!!
We show one of the scarface locations in the next video :D
4:12 i wonder who commissioned that ad
Wow didn’t know Miami still looked this good
I like this new high speed train from Fort Lauderdale to Miami.
I believe you’re assigned to a seat number, but in premium, you can choose on the website what seat you want.
Take care you two ♥♥
Yeah kind of surprised that it's like an all inclusive with the food and drinks!
