I haven't seen a Vector Prime figure in over a decade. This brings me way back. Used to own one until I gave it to my cousin as a gift. It's an absolutely gorgeous figure
I'd love to see a new version of Vector Prime someday. The first version I had was the Galaxy Force version from hasbro that was orange and black with reddish wings

Well it kinda sucks, it's a compromised retool of another design and nothing about his body is right
The new one convinced me to track down a vintage one. Best advertising for the old mould as far as I'm concerned. 👍
The takara version is miles better for having hard clear plastic on the wings and sword and more accurate colors, so I went with that.
That didn't stop me though from getting the gold one(Cybertron Galaxy Force Vector Prime) and the black one(Universe 2.0 Vector Prine) 😅😅😅
Need a 3rd party of this tbh
They'll never make Transformers toys as good as the Cybertron line, at least not unless it's third party and ridiculously expensive.
Vector Prime is definitrly one of my favorite characters
This guy was recolored 3 or more times, and also was slightly retooled into a convention exclusive g1 Alpha Trion at one point oooooo.
Speaking of that if I remember this right the 3rd? release of him gutted the electronics but kept the speaker window and battery compartment for some reason and that carried over to the exclusive alpha trion I mentioned, but on the plus side that alpha trion came with a vector sigma orb. Something that seems to now be a time honored convention exclusive Alpha Trion tradition with the new "a hero is born" set from this year once again including the orb with a new even more accurate take on a g1 alpha trion that's still a retool of another figure that turns into a weird spaceboat.
Vector primes alt mode reminds me of something from Star Wars and I love it ❤
I had this one as a kid as well as the tfc optimus. I lost the minicon one day and spent years looking for it. To this day I still wonder where it is.

I have one of those figures actually I have the exact same figure but he's missing the minicon he's missing his shoulder pads his arm pads his cyber key his sword and his blast effect I'm also missing his skirt I only have the metal part in between his legs but not the skirt on his thighs thankfully he's not in bad condition and does not flake whatsoever so that is just your figure
They should really make this one again. Pretty difficult to get now, and even more difficult to get Takara version, which is more detailed.

They should do a re-paint of this figure as a Star-Wars figure of the star destroyer. That would be sick. And then the Ark become Hon Solo's ship. That would be rad.

I got mine from Robo Kingdom years too late for this version. I got the Korean box from Robot Kingdom (back before Co.v.i.d., when their shipping fees didn't x3 the price of any oreder), but it should be the same colors.
The Moccom(Korean) Vector Prime is almost identical to the Takara one, the only difference being the Cyber Key is painted in grey.

As much as I would love to see an updated vector prime, I wouldn't want to see it as a 3rd of the size, more brittle, and less detailed, and I doubt safeguard would be as articulate if they would even consider adding it in all for double the original price
I think a third party company making a Vector Prime would be better
