Lando wouldnt have won even if hed been on the correct tyre. They were both on the wrong tyre but Hamilton looked after his tyres whilst Lando shredded his. That was the race craft intelligence of Hamilton who then managed the gap to Verstappen really expertly and deservedly won.
I love the ‘should’ve’ won comments that McLaren/Lando fans are always using. A mistake is a mistake, they didn’t win because they made too many and Lando couldn’t keep his tyres alive. I think we very clearly saw the difference between a champion (Max and Lewis) and a good driver (Lando).
James Allen should be the lead commentator for Formula 1 on Sky. The problem is his commentary was far too biased when Lewis first came into F1 in 2007/2008. Before that, when it was Michael, Mika, Kimi, Fernando and such, he was a far better commentator than David Croft. Hopefully James realizes that.
He was worse when it was Jenson Button. But you have to realise some commentary will be biased, the Dutch commentary don't even hide their glazing over Verstappen.

They are all blinded by their own country biases an project that into the british guys. Im from south america and always think the world broadcast is unbiased enough and very professional.

Every single other country unabashedly glazes their own drivers and then dogpile the Brits for doing the same. No fuel stops, less overtaking due to the cars getting to big and the overtakes are done with a fake drs flap, cars are ugly as sin due to the halo system and most of the tracks now are boring as sin.

Norris made the mistake of choosing his friends not just tyres wrong too.. Verstappen over Hamilton.
