Yes, thius album is such fun ! Especially for the Munsters Fans! Herman did just splendid with his song, and laugh as well..Thanx for watching this masterpiece!
It's an old trick that producers use in order to get royalties out of theme songs to their shows. Gene Roddenberry added lyrics to the Star Trek theme to do that, even though Alexander Courage was the composer.
Hey, Steve ! Hope you enjoyed this clip..I love this, with Herman singing, as far as I know, is only such thing..They really were a fun bunch to watch..Thanx for great comment, & watching !

olvinyldude Records are great :) I may be young (only 21 in fact), but I grew up with records. My mum used to own a record player which she played these. Think it was purchased in the 80's? Sadly the needle broke. I had some hand me downs of stories you would listen to on record. Which I listened to on there. I listened to the Disney version of 'Robin Hood' and such stories like 'Wizard of OZ "(I'M MELTINGGG!) and The Dark Crystal. She also used to play some 60's records :). Like 'Puff the Magic Dragon'. (which eventually started to do that annoying repeating word thing discs like to do). Sadly all of those are gone now. Shame because I really treasured them. Those seem to be really expensive to buy now. My mum was a kid in the 60's and teenager in the 70's (She is a few years younger than Butch Patrick (Eddie), so she watched shows like the Munsters, Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, Six Million Dollar Man... etc growing up. @@olvinyldude One of the first songs, I learned on guitar was The Munsters theme. I own the box set. I enjoy the simple humor, cars, the pets and the costumes and the details of the house.
Technics SL 1200 MK7 super nice turntable. I had the older version in silver when I was a teenager, wish I never sold it. They are hard to come by now.
@@brinkybrinkz Yes, this however is the 1200GLD, #75 of only 1500 produced..we have two, wish I had another tho! They play so well! I do have a standard 1200 that we carry around for shows however..Just kant beat Technics! I still have an early 70's model, belt drive that still works great!
@@brinkybrinkz THAT is awesome ! They really did have great music from 60's..I would LOVE to have that Car they drove around in! Have never seen it, or a replica anywhere..would be fun to build one from scratch, suppose! And the house, just iconic!
Very interesting point, and I would agree with you ! LOL.. think that is why a lot of great movies of the past tend to exploit the young'uns ! Thanx for watching this classic !
Lily, let me do some checking, and will get back in touch with you..I have heard rumour it was Re-released on Vinyl, but not sure about CD... If cannot find, I would be more than happy, to make you a CD from the Original album ! Thanx for watching, have great end of week, and Easter ! ...rich
Lily... I did some quick checking, this is the SUPER rare album, which hardly exists.. This one is NM condtion, record AND cover, making it that much rarer.. I DID however find TWO copies on the Net right now..1 is a Canadian copy, going for approx. $102.00 (includes S&H) and is from 1965..The one like my copy, is US, done in 1964, and is selling for $49.99 and they state Good condition for record, and Very Good for the sleeve..They are Both on Discogs, on the Net.. There is no CD re-release, I was thinking of the other album I have, it is NM also, I have a few of the songs on my channel, it was by the GROUP called the Munsters, from '64 .. It is also very rare, but you can still get some Original copies starting at 15. or 20 dollars, and it WAS re-released a few years ago, on New Vinyl..do not think it was done for CD..Hope that is help to you ! If you think of me making a CD for you, I suppose you would have one of rarest CD's in the World, since the album hardly exists, Lol ! ( I am surprised, it never was redone, actually! Have a great day!
I do not know if exists anywhere else, it is a VERY rare album, as came out on a childrens label, ( Golden Records ) and unfortunate, we know how a lot of youngsters took care of records!!! Very rare to find cover, yet record to play.. "The Munsters" was the other album that was done, but was a group called The Munsters doing Munster type song..( I have several on my channel ) THIS album was the only actual original cast album done... I will put more on for you in coming few weeks ! ( Has Grandpa, Lily, and the whole gang! .. It is pretty good fun ! Thanx for watching, and love your icon pic! She was great !
Okay..placed the Eddie&Marilyn track, the side 2, will try to get next week... Has personal stories by Herman,Lily & Grandpa narrated by each...Cheers!

@@olvinyldude yes I enjoyed it very much 🎃 very good time of year to find it lol. I'm old enough to know it had words ✌️ so thank you for sharing 🎶❤️
@@amyjoedwards6711 That's great! Thanx for watching, & Happy, Safe Halloween!
Wicked
Yes, he sings great, also ! Herman was splendid soul ...Thanx for watching!
My favorite turntable in black. Me no peeping Tom, me #1 private detective.
Thanx for watching..hope you enjoyed Herman sing !
And the house, just iconic!
fun ''
Hey, Robert...Yep, LOVE this one, with Herman singing !
I don't know why, but hearing kids sing the theme generally scares me a little
Very interesting point, and I would agree with you ! LOL.. think that is why a
lot of great movies of the past tend to exploit the young'uns ! Thanx for watching this classic !
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...
Why ?
Can we even buy this record or buy it on a cd?
Lily, let me do some checking, and will get back in touch with you..I have heard rumour it was Re-released on Vinyl, but not sure about CD... If cannot
find, I would be more than happy, to make you a CD from the Original album !
$102.00 (includes S&H) and is from 1965..The one like my copy, is US,
done in 1964, and is selling for $49.99 and they state Good condition for record, and Very Good for the sleeve..They are Both on Discogs, on the Net.. There is no CD re-release, I was thinking of the other album I have, it is NM also, I have a few of the songs on my channel, it was by the GROUP called the Munsters, from '64 ..
It is also very rare, but you can still get some Original copies starting at 15. or
20 dollars, and it WAS re-released a few years ago, on New Vinyl..do not think it was done for CD..Hope that is help to you ! If you think of me making a CD for you, I suppose you would have one of rarest CD's in the World, since the album hardly exists, Lol ! ( I am surprised, it never was redone, actually! Have a great day!
@Marty McFly II Thats great ! Will you get a copy?
If only the producers had made a crossover deal for a movie in which Eddie weds Wednesday Addams.
Can you hear all the tracks somewhere?
I do not know if exists anywhere else, it is a VERY rare album, as came out on
a childrens label, ( Golden Records ) and unfortunate, we know how a lot of
youngsters took care of records!!! Very rare to find cover, yet record to play..
"The Munsters" was the other album that was done, but was a group called
The Munsters doing Munster type song..( I have several on my channel ) THIS
album was the only actual original cast album done... I will put more on for
you in coming few weeks ! ( Has Grandpa, Lily, and the whole gang! .. It is pretty good fun ! Thanx for watching, and
love your icon pic! She was great !
olvinyldude thank you very much :) can't wait to hear the others sing (hoping they do). Yvonne had a lovely singing voice
Okay ! Have placed a new clip, with Lily & Grandpa I think you will enjoy..
Have 4 more, will try to place in next week or two..Hope you enjoy ! ! !
Okay..placed the Eddie&Marilyn track, the side 2, will try to get next week...
Has personal stories by Herman,Lily & Grandpa narrated by each...Cheers!
Have placed you some new tracks ! Is one left...Grandpa & his Recipe...

@@olvinyldude who could give this a thumbs down!???! What's not to like! Lol!
@@CZECHMATE650 yep ! Funny folk out there!!
It’s really Grandpa Dracula, not Munster. He’s Lily’s father, not Herman’s father. Geez.
Thanx for that info! Lol.... Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse !
@@olvinyldude Thanks. I guess you're a fan to my own name. My parents really named me after their favorite movie.
