This is brilliant! like a murder mystery where the audience all know who did it but the characters dont!
Also great as i grew up in tivvy and own a cs100!
Fantastic wee chippers those cs100s I have an 18hp electric start model that I've yet to sell having upgraded to a larger machine. It was my first chipper and it was absolutely faultless. Yours looks to need the blade sharpening, they should pull material in until they stall when sharpened and the anvil gap set correctly, litterally have to hold material back. For Sharpening the main blade angle is 27 degrees, back angle 10 degrees and anvil gap between the 27 Degree blade edge & anvil is 0.5mm. you can adjust the anvil and or if the blades are close to the wear mark you can get shims to go under the blades. like I say, if the blades are right you'll need to hold larger / longer material back so it doesn't stall the engine or burn the belts (pix xset spa1000)
They are on the edge for sure, as you say these chippers are wild when the blades are sharp so a slightly dull blade works great to safe your hands when chipping, thanks for the info mate 👍🏼
The Dürer power pack is the best £190 I have ever spent!
She'll start 3 dead tractors with power to spare!
They are bloody good!
Brilliant little chipper love my one. Saves on alot of dragging brush
Agreed 👌🏽
Cracking content there!!
Absolutely wonderful to see real life evidence of the two true facts of life.
ONE. perseverance often triumphs over troubles.
TWO. Train don't stop Camborne wednesdays.
Hahahaha, this is great apart from Camborne is in Cornwall lol 🤣🤣
Looking good that wood chipper, good job Mike another great fix
Thanks Shaun, have a great weekend.
Mike forever 👍👍👍
Haha, we agree!
another nice job Guys Handy little chipper for some one Thanks again
Thanks Darran 👍🏼
Got one myself, red button caught me out a few times. Your's is worth £3k all day long.
Thank you, just sold for £2k 🤦🏻♂️
Great little chippers, you wouldn't be the first person to try starting one without pulling that kill switch up properly 🤔🤣
All that because Josh couldn't control himself with the big red button 😂
Looks like a decent little chipper though!
To be honest, the cost of getting machinery fixed these days is extortionate! My Husqvarna 535LK cost around £500 for the power unit. The cost of getting it fixed was £400 before labour😮!!
It certainly is not cheap.
Are those ride on's in the back future projects 😂😂
These are already done, but their will be ride on content coming 👍🏼
Nice Chipper but to much Money 😐 but I love the older Vanguard V-Twin engines. Absolutely bulletproof engines in my opinion and the Sound is amazing.
Yeah they are lovely!
What would be your guide to blades to shear bar gap to chip?
3 grand for a shitty drum chipper ? 😂 having to force stuff down it to chip . Could buy a proper Timberwolf for few hundred quid more
1 grand is good for that
This is very true! Shitty drum chipper maybe, but most self fed chipper’s are going to fit through a garden gate. I feel you pain for trying the force stuff down to chip though 😂
Mmm guy I work for has a brand new £22k timberwolf .we would have loved to have a cs 100 on one of our jobs .The Job site has heavy clay and even with a quad we couldn't get it to the tree and it's a 5 acre site. These have their place convenience of getting round the back of the house or boggy conditions downside no roller feed .Many people want fire wood now so 4 inch plus gets burned .these cs 100s are the best in their class .I m .o .
It's horses for courses, no point in comparing it to a 'real' chipper. We've got one and it's great for winter cutting ba ck in grounds maintenance. I can tow it round the site with a little kubota and fire the chip behind the bushes. We've got the dedicated greenmech trailer too and it's dead easy and quick to pull it out of the stores and hook it onto a van in the morning by yourself. They're too expensive for what they are, but if it suits your needs then worth the outlay.
Curious.... Is that engine basically a horizontal plane version of the same model on a ride on.... But on ride on.... It's vertical plane??. 🤔👌
Very similar Tim, apart from the sump being at the bottom and a few internal bits to make it horizontal crank rather than vertical.
aces. very helpful.... ya know what would be MORE helpful.... "oh.. go you ahead tim... let me know what would be superly more helpful"...
IF... y'all purchased a shitbox countax c600h from facebook .... with the briggs engine... and did a full overhaul... including pulley pulling and bearing pressing...
"tim.... we'm proper westcountry down molton way..... but unlike you... you twat... we'm westcountry with a intelligence still..... facebook COUNTAX's........ you tosser!"
..... i'll get me coat.
You guys still got this for sale? I'm after a CS100
