Love how u increased the volume at 2:05. You can feel the Chaos Lord's eternal hatred for the imperium and his rejoice in killing the corpse god's slaves.

If there is no apothecary on the battlefield or he is dead, it's the Techmarine's duty to collect the gene-seed of his fallen brothers.

One of reasons i never liked any other wh games outside of dow1 and dow2 is the delivery, dow's voice acting makes it so edgy, unique and just badass, also adds a humour element. I think no other wh game has as much soul in it as dow 1 and 2. Glory to Steeve Blum!
Better than Dawn Of War 3. Steve Blum does tend to get overused also but this is one of his better roles.
dawn of war is both a part of wh40k and its own thing. if wh40k did not exist but a "dawn of war" with a similar premise existed i would still love them
You should play Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, the Voice Acting is similarly legendary.
It is not just the voiceacting, but the matching of the statements to the actions in the battlefield.
What about Rogue Trader, Darktide and Vermintide?

Joining Chaos is perfectly forgivable if you do it to bask in the glory of Steve Blume’s voice.
Also, I find it cool that you can somewhat hear his Starscream and Sub-Zero voices in this.

I don’t know if this is heresy or not. On the one hand, it does seem to be glorifying one of the many heretics. On the other hand, it does help to show why we need the Emperor’s protection and that of his holy servants.
So sad to see that Spike fell to chaos.
That said, this voice performance was 95% of the reason I ever played chaos in DoW2

I would crusade with this man.
"Abandon reason, know only war" really has "Return to Monke" vibes. I would honestly love if the tabletop had a chaos lord model that looked like DOW2's Chaos Lord, that horned barbute helmet really makes him stand out.

My favourite is still Chaos Lord of Word Bearers we heard in Dark Crusade - Eliphas the Inheritor.
I would pay for DLC for Dawn of War 2 if they re-hired voice actors to do similar voicing for all Chaos Marines.
