This video needs a BILLION views!! And nothing about handling it is covered by insurance on the homefront or on the medical front. It is THE most medically and financially devastating thing that can happen to a person outside of the death of a loved one. There is such a feeling of helplessness and hopelessness that descends on one when you realize that is what is going on. And then you get backed into a corner by testing because in many states, if you test positive for toxic mold, you have to disclose that when selling your home. It's an impossible situation. Also important to note that mold affects people differently so it is easy to dismiss it when one person is ill while another inhabitant seems fine.

Mold exposure (illness) has been the scariest and most life altering thing I’ve ever been through 😱

Thank you so much for sharing this most important topic!
My husband and I were exposed through our HVAC system. Sometimes were so sick, it has been overwhelming and life changing on every level.
Praying we can afford to remediate and live the rest of our lives in clean air and safe surroundings. NO help from our Insurance company at all.

I think if you ask almost anyone (doctors included) if they believe mold is dangerous to the human body, they’ll readily agree. Everyone knows black mold is toxic right? But if you ask them how is it dangerous… tell them the things you’re experiencing… they’ll almost immediately dismiss you. There’s no way that mold is behind your symptoms. Everyone has mold! They refuse to look at the answers right in front of their face. Finding those that believe has been a long and difficult journey for me. My home is full of mold. We’re going bankrupt to try and fix it. Going bankrupt to try and get healthy. The system is not our friend and the feeling of being so alone and unheard is exhausting. But we push and push to try and save our home because it’s all we have. We can’t sell. We can’t walk away. We’re literally trapped trying to take on what feels like the world, all alone. I feel like shouting from the rooftops! “Don’t you people see?! Look around you! Look at what’s happening without dehumidifiers and AC! Look at what happens without proper building and water mitigation! Do you know what this will do to you?!” No one gets it. And I’ll be the first to admit that one year ago, I was among them. I had NO idea what mold could do until I was suddenly in it. This NEEDS to be taught! This needs to be shared! It’s a situation that exemplifies an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. More needs to be done!

Had this happen to me, I knew it was black mold and no one believed me, and then they found black mold in the basement next to the heating system pumping it throughout the entire house ... the minute it was fixed (the entire heating system unfortunately!!) everyone in the house had their health turn around!

1."There's not much we can do about it." 2.'Your age is why you are sick" (said no Dr. whoever helped me improve) and 3."Finding the right people." 3 VERY powerful statements. The former 2 will keep you ill, or worse. The second will help you find solutions, heal, and recover your life.

Michael Rubino and Gwyneth Paltrow, wouldn't it be great if you could convince Bruce Willis's family to look for mold in his home. I think he is likely suffering from that, and currently non verbal from how ill he is. I think it would definitely be worth investigating. Just an idea.

Mold has ruined my life. Im traumatized and i rent so that worries me even more. Many people and some doctors are oblivious to this. I have had long covid and a pulmonary doctor sent me to infectious disease because i had mold in my lungs. I still feel its in my lungs after 3 months of antifungals. Gwenyth is very correct about what happens with mold. And mold is usually invisible.

Thanks for bringing attention to this topic. We need to educate mainstream medical practitioners about mold toxin illness. They often believe the only response to mold is allergenic. Builders also need to be educated about moisture management principles. Unfortunately, this problem is going to occur with greater frequency due to climate change.

It’s a terrible thing to experience, and to see your children suffering is even more terrible.
Unfortunately, it’s only the wealthy who can combat it. To truly remediate a home costs a huge fortune. There’s a certain privilege that comes with wealth, and it’s your health. Those with lots of many will find the best doctors, the best remediators, those without pay the price.
