Texas P Kavan was spectacular! In comparison, Canady was starting to become worn down. Last year Stanford rode her to the WCWS and she almost beat OU (almost). This year she's been getting hit in the final innings - the bobble in RF didn't help. But it didn't matter; Kavan held the Stanford bats down to zero (0) runs. Will Stanford go forward? Not if Canady is the only one they can trust... and the 'no-bats' doesn't give much additional encouragement either. Thanks, Matt.
If Canada just had three of the elite hitters Texas had they could absolutely go on a deep run but unfortunately for her she has to play nearly perfect most nights to get them a win and at this high a level that just isn’t fair expectations. Stanford will win nothing with Canady unless they get her some legit help.
