NCAA Championships, You're the best! I just had to subscribe!
I haven't watched softball in a while but the Florida pitchers throwing gas straight down the pipe in the 1st inning was a bad coaching decision.

Couple questions for anyone who can answer them.
1. Why the underhanded pitching style instead of regular overhanded pitching style?
2. Why after every pitch does #23 walk towards the mound, and does it serve a specific purpose for like strategizing?
hey! i think i can answer (anybody is free to correct me), im a d3 softball player! so first, softball pitches underhand because the ball, a softball is bigger and heavier then a baseball, which makes it easier to throw with velocity underhand. And in underhand pitching the arm is closer to the body which can make it stronger and less straining then a overhand throw. this allows the pitcher to throw more frequently and for longer periods of time! your other question, they do that to like bunt the ball a little bit, so they can have a head start for running, it is a strategy to get to first base quicker
@@onaaa1of1 i agree! ive played almost my whole life and the technique used by #23 is called "slapping" where you try to get the ball hit on the ground right in front to cause confusion in the infield, aiding you when running to first!
