Thanks for the video…the different examples really help. I picked up a used AT Gold yesterday at a pawn shop (I couldn’t pass up the deal). It wasn’t even on my radar, I was looking hard for a gold monster 1000. The more I’m learning about the AT Gold, the happier I am with the purchase.

Great test and review Jeremiah. That might be my next detector. I love my AT Pro but the gold may be a tad better. GL&HH

it's hard to say my brother in-law runs a at pro and I have had one I n the past. for my style of hunting around cellar holes it works for me...however I never used the small coil on the at pro. i got a signal in trash with the gold using the small coil and the at pro package picked it up too using the big coil......it ended up being an old shotgun coil 8" deep !

I live in north Idaho and picked up the AT Gold. I’m hoping I just haven’t quite dialed it in yet. Because it seems to miss any kind of gold ore silver ore and can find any piece of trash immediately. Even with iron off.
Has anyone had these issues or recommendations?
Also, it has reached the 80’s and 90’s indicating precious metal and it be a shit piece of iron. How can this happen?

It's a tricky detector to use...however I wish I still had it for my type of treasure hunting !
