Your "Art of Effective Rigging" course along with the "Alive!" Course lead to me getting an internship at a game studio and eventually a job offer as well. I ended up declining the offer for a host of different reasons, but just know that you pretty much singlehandedly made me focus on animation as my area of specialization in 3D. Really glad to hear that you're working on 2 new courses, can't wait to check those out later down the line. Thanks for being an inspiration and overall great influence in the animation community!
Congratulations! (I have nothing to do with this at all, but I like seeing good news, and good things for people). Good luck with all your future endeavors, and can't wait to see where you go!
The course is definitely fair priced, to the point that I think that it is underpriced because the value that I got from it is so high. It would have taken me years to master the things that you taught if I learned it on my own from scratch.
Thank you for the updates & discounts Pierrick! I am currently on chapter 7 of the Alive course & I have to say you really spoil your students with the high quality character rigs you provide. They really make the learning process so much smoother. In fact, using the Trident rig is what made me want to take AOER2 next, so I'll definitely be getting it now! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us, the amount of effort you put into your courses is always much appreciated :]
I can highly recommend all the courses. They are well constructed and well recorded. Easily the best purchase for tutorials I have ever made. Totally worth every cent.
Anyone wanting to learn animation or rigging I always send your way. I've looked at dozens of Blender content creators and you are unrivaled, sir. I have a computer animation degree, but I learned in Maya and other paid for programs. Your content is exactly what is needed for professional level content creation in Blender. I've bought all your courses, and anyone else serious about Blender should too!
Pierrick, I‘m just here to say a big THANK YOU!!! What you offer at such a Price is incredible and you definitely sell yourself under value. Not everyone has the measures to buy a Blender Course. You are a blessing for the entire Animation Community! Greetings from Germany ❤
I must say that I do agree in your courses being reasonable in their prices. I discovered you with the first AOER course back in the day and it was literally my first ever paid course. From there I slowly grew interest in to animation and then got really happy when Alive came out. And most recently very happy with AOER2. And while I won't start comparing directly your courses to others I've seen, which they do have good things I can value; I do prefer your way of teaching for the most part as a personal opinion. I don't know you in person, but through your courses I've always perceived vibes of a humble approach in showing others and your courses are mostly non dependant on external addons, even while recomending some due to the benefit they might offer on the long run. I've not managed to make a living of this artist path yet, which is my personal goal; but I'm participating in a game project and so far the feedback I've been getting is positive. And most of what I've learned was thanks to your courses (with a few other things I've learned from other sources). So I just want to thank you for your time and effort in what you are doing. From one of your followers and student. Keep it up!
Giving credit to the people who helped you along the way shows that you have the heart and humility of someone truly great. You're an awesome mentor! Thanks for sharing your knowledge :D
Thanks, they've all been very supportive when Iw as with them and when I left, so it was a minimum for me to let people know that there are good person out there :)
Your "Art of Effective Rigging" course is getting me over the hurdle of being intimidated by Blender and its possibility. I'm even thinking that, when I finish AoER, I will pick up some of your other courses to further refine my skills! Thank you so much, and keep being a voice for independent digital art education. I say this as a college prof myself, we really need you, and people like you!
You are a LEGEND man! Amazing content always! Can't wait to finally have some time and enroll in one of your courses S2 I'm leaving a project after 3 years straight working on it fully... I barely had the time to do some art for myself. So next year will be crazy personal projects production 🎉
Thank you Pierrick. I bought that course day one and I actually stopped halfway because of the many updates to Blender. This is a much needed and awesome update💪🏽🙏🏽
Thanks for updating this! A lot of instructors don't take the time to update their old courses but this makes a big difference for those of us who are new. I've recently purchased Alive based on Grant Abbitt's solid recommendation and am really looking forward to going through the course.
This is amazing news and timing. I just finished up an art challenge in which I used some very basic rigging to get the character in a pose and could not have done it without what I learned in the Art of Effective Rigging v1. I was thinking that one way to keep the excitement and moment was to dive back into the Alive course, and to hear it is updated is the news I needed. THANKS!!!
Wow !!! That's exactly what I was expected ! "Alive" updated for Blender 4.2 ! Thank you so much Pierrick ! I'm waiting for a "little teaser" of the next courses... like you did for AOER2 !
i had recently bought the course through blender market , i had tried to buy in the main web but at that time something was wrong , it wasnt working . Now am glad you can switch us to p2 main web. I am starting the course this Dec as i prepare to start my new job i believe i will now be in a good position to learn along the way.
This sort of thing is so refreshing and so rare! That's probably the most appealing thing from the Blender community. Gratitude, camaraderie, support. Love it.
I do believe in the value of your courses too, I just bought the art of rigging 2 because I saw the quality of the free content and though I'm a professional (gameplay) animator I bought alive, because I love your explanation and the announcement is just a motivation for me to finish the courses before the release of new content I love blender, I love your content, and I love what you're doing for the community, keep it up
Alive! is an incredible value, and has gotten even better! Thank you so much for all of the extra time and work it takes to update these courses, It means so much!
I've been a subscriber for a while but I think it's finally time for me to enroll in "Alive!". My love of animation was rekindled recently when I started watching Love Death & Robots, so this sale is just the nudge I needed. Keep up the fantastic work, Pierrick, and I can't wait to see what's coming next!
Thank you Pierrick! This convinced me to pull the trigger and I am excited to start on the Alive course. I appreciate when you have clearly put so much effort into these that you should be compensated fairly for them, but as you said it is hard to pass a good discount!
oh ho-ho yesss, another rigging course hehehe :) also congratulations on the extra work you've done with Alive! and even creating a full document. i cannot wait to check it all out, thanks!
Your course is great, thank you very much. I didn't expect it to update, and the price is very cheap. In China, I have to spend ten times the price to buy the same course
I am an advocate of discounts! These courses are great, fam. I am so grateful to get both Alive and the art of effective rigging 2, when it was on sale last year. I can't wait to see what you are cooking next!! Also, thank you for the updates as well! I need a refresher anyways. 😊
I haven't even finished AOEFR1 yet all these years later, but this is a good opportunity to grab the new one if i can, thanks 👍

I'm currently trying to decide if I should further my drawing skills to focus on Storyboarding or if I should further my Blender animation skills and search for an animation job. Here in Portugal we are used to being swiss army knifes when it comes to animation, but to find a job elsewhere I reckon one needs to specialize. If I go 3D, I'm getting your rigging and animation courses. The rigging course has a "2" in the end, is there a "1" or this just means it's an updated version? Thank you, Sir!
Thanks a lot. 1 question : I bought your course on blender market in order to play it on my TV or in the plane (no Internet connection). Will it be possible to do so from P2design ? Whatever, you're advices and methods make me progress a lot, and a lot more than I expected, I'm grateful. "Encore merci et au plaisir "
May I ask, "Alive!" and "art of effective rigging 2," which one is recommended to watch first for easier entry? Also, I’d like to know if subtitles are available.
I just bought it. I don't know if anyone noticed this but, there are other classes teaching similar techniques for much more. I wonder...where they got their class concept from? 🤔🧐😁 I also wanted to get more animation techniques practice before trying AOER2.. again. 🤣 It's all repetition that's how you learn.
