It's NUX time again! The DP-2000 multipad offers some nice acoustic, electronic and world/percussion onboard kits to play with. As the title indicates, this video sound demo shows off ALL of them, so there's no more unanswered sound questions. I expanded the DP-2000 with BD pad, HH controller and HH pad for a nice "kit feeling" (which was a lot of fun actually!)

Hi, awesome demo.
I would like to ask, if the sensitivity varies a lot around the pad surface.
I would like to use this to trigger SD3 Octobans... and the Avatar like pad midi note velocity varies a lot between center and near the corner.

I haven’t tried the dp-2000 with external sounds yet unfortunately, with the internal sounds I didn’t notice the problem you’re describing as far as I remember. Kind regards!

Hm, is the recording just in mono or does the device indeed not deliver proper stereo sound?

Hi, the multipad has additional connectors for a bd pad, a hihat controller and another pad. I chose to use the external pad as hihat, the control pedal lets you play open/close. Kind regards!

@@rafisnurbela5034 It's a small Roland CY-5 I guess. Should be available in any online drum store. You can use also the Zeitgeist stuff from drumTec or a small Lemon cymbal.
