That is really lame to hear that blizzard took that advice as an attack, especially when you have youtubers like Stylosa who constantly are leaking content and criticizing the balance team but still get to work with Blizzard esports
That's honestly super sad to hear that Blizzard messaged you saying that. Honestly extremely petty for a massive business. Glad that you're back, always loved your videos and your overall mentality.
Skyline, you have the best overwatch content on youtube, hands down. It’s positive, enlightening, helpful, insightful, objective, entertaining, creative, and it ultimately shaped the way that I view the game. Also, i want to emphasize that you 100% have the most positive overwatch content on youtube. Your intentions with that are received and appreciated! Stoked to have you back, for whichever games you decide to make videos on.
I'm sad blizzard sent you that message as a first response. They could have been more positive about all the other content you've posted. You've given them free promotion and players resources. I still use your settings videos when new patches mess up my settings. When I see the UA-camrs that blizzard decides to work with and the content they create, I do think they support the wrong people in the community to some extent. A lot of them are speculation channels that have their game play on repeat with voice over on their opinions. Not much of it is valuable information, useful tutorials, or have any editing quality behind them. I came to your channel because of Overwatch, but understand if your channel becomes more variety. Best wishes on your journey and its impressive to see how you've adapted to esports. ❤️👍
So awesome to see a new video from you. That message you got from Blizzard sounds really disturbing but I agreed 100% with your criticism about the “go big or go home” mentality they have when it comes to changing their characters. It really knocked the wind out of me and reduced the amount of fun I had playing Mercy and Symmetra when they were changed. Honestly if Moira had not been released in that timespan to fill the void I might have stopped playing altogether. I have a feeling you have moved far beyond Overwatch at this point but since you asked, I would love to see videos where you pick a particular pro or high ladder game and examine the gameplay. Specifically examining what their gameplay objectives are and what their thought process might be. Basically a video to help me improve me game sense lol.
Also Skyline... I'm super excited your back but I have to request something. If you're willing to do more Overwatch guides could you please do a specific hero guide for Winston. It's very specific and selfish of me but I learn so much more with your teachings and overall knowledge. Anyways, again glad you're back and you were missed.
Whoa, Skyline, welcome back! I was just (totally not creepily) thinking about you and the videos you used to post. Welcome back, seriously. It's good to see you again.
Got lucky with the UA-cam algorithm actually recommended something recent, relevant, and great from my subscriber list! Glad to see you back and I'd wholeheartedly it 2nd the sentiment of you being some of the most positive OW content... It was you, prolikechro, and fitzyhere that helped me get out of bronze.. Now have 2 accounts in mid diamond and the 3rd in low diamond. The overlying message and what ultimately helped me improve from your content was the mental aspect. If anyone has ever played racquetball.. Focusing too much on the score can kill you and you could end up in a 5 or more point reverse sweep (mental games at work here) Anyway.. Glad to see you doing well and appreciate the honest sincerity of your return video.
I was just recently thinking "gee where did that Skyline fella go", glad to see you back! Fun fact, I've got a Razer Ornata thanks to your old keyboards video, I'm glad I saw that one. The whole "mecha-membrane" tech was never on my radar and reviews tend to be very mechanical-biased, but because of that video I found that it's basically what I was hoping for, thank you. ^^ Looking forward to seeing what sort of content you put out, I followed for the Overwatch tips of course (and I'm sure that played a big part in drawing others in), but the idea of more gaming-in-general advice and such sounds really good. Certainly stuff like aim practice, awareness, etc are pretty universal - at least to shooters - and mentality often applies to far more.
Ive been here for a long time. 2 years ago i was in a deep depression and hated life. I discovered your videos and you really changed my mindset, not just about overwatch but irl too. You really helped my mental health for the best and Im glad your back!
Welcome back man; I remember when I first started playing overwatch as a gold scrub watching your videos and eventually hit top 500 then quit. Your insight was great and I'd love to see more content regarding getting better at ANY game since you've done that yourself multiple times over.
Fuck yeah, big brain Sky is back! I've missed you. My favourite OW youtuber. Will you play and or post anymore OW content? I hope you made some good money from all your work. Love from Sweden.
I honestly did forget about you Skyline. I need to go back and watch your old videos, I remember they were so helpful at the time. I’ll definitely check you out on twitch too.
Damn thats cool ive watched ur guides when i was playing too much Overwatch which i dont anymore. Id love to watch more new videos of you and also how are you that good in so many video games? In which games have you hit the leaderboards?
So psyched that you're back!! I really enjoyed your VOD reviews - whether they were viewer-submitted or professional matches. Would love to see you feature in some podcasts relating to esports too!
Since you did stuff with Street Fighter, i want to see more content about fighting games in general, or the recent Under Night Inbirth game if can. There's many topics you can talk about in the fighting game community. Glad to have you back!
I was literally mad when you left. I joined your discord and wrote in the "ideas for videos" a message saying that you should do an explanation video, coz there were a lot of fans left behind like me, and I left the server right after. But man I'm happy to see you back. Thanks for having actually done it. As someone who really looks up to you and genuinely loved your videos for many different reasons, let me say I really really missed you bro. Welcome back 🤗.
I appreciate your commitment to honesty. It's something that I've really learned while building and running my own business - honesty is truly the best policy, to both your employees, to your customers, and to your partners. Everyone appreciates it. Keep it up!
Welcome back Sky. All of your excellent Ana content from way back in S3 is still burned into my brain so much so that I think about it whenever I play now. glad to see both her and you come back into the meta. Regardless of where you land from a content standpoint, the mentality will be worth the sub. I look forward to it.
Nice to see you back! I'm glad you took your time to get the experience you wanted and am happy for you. I can't wait to see the future of your content :)
Even after 1,5 years, whenever someone asks me how to get better at overwatch, I still, to this very day, tell them to watch your videos. You're like the ultimate teacher. You're able to break complicated matters into simple things that are very easily digestible, no matter how complicated the original matter actually is. As I'm thinking about a teaching career myself, you've always been quite a role model for me. More so, you have quite literally changed how I view life itself, so I'm glad to see you back!
Skyline, you played a big part in sparking my joy of Overwatch and interest in the mentality of playing and improving. Almost two years ago, you inspired me to create my first Overwatch team, which lead to me meeting lots of people that have become important in my life, including my girlfriend. I love what you are doing and hope to see you continue doing it.
I always liked your channel but damn I have a whole lot more respect for you now, not because of what you achieved (not that you didn't achieve a lot), but why you did it. You were humble enough to agree you didn't have the experience etc and I'm glad to have you back.
You're amazing. This is the absolute best reason for a hiatus I could've heard. You are the most level headed. I like to let my son watch your vids as well. So glad you're back.
Good to see you back Skyline, your type of content really helped me begin to shape my perception of team composition logic, which blended effortlessly with the good educational content of the greats that became community superstars during your absence. Was really digging your Map Mastery series as well, wishing for its continuation was personally the biggest reason I never lost hope in this subscription, maybe a reboot with new insights would be cool if you consider what you learned in your journey would warrant such a thing. In either case I'm sure your content will rock be what it may.
Great work and such positive mentoring content for life (let alone eSports). Welcome back Skyline and congratulations on stepping up to take the pro gaming challenge!
honestly completly forgot about you, but seeing you again reminded me again of the best overwatch videos i saw back then.I hope that you will make those game challenges, id suggest also including the methods you achieved said goal
Holy moly. I just got beamed over here from Jayne and this is the first time I’ve seen your channel, top quality left and right and almost certainly for the future as well!
Good to have you back man, I always loved your videos because you did not shy away from calling out the mistakes the devs make I hope you continue making quality contant man!
I no longer play OW but i Love your breakdowns of strats for gaming in general, all from a pick strat in OW to a bild order for 1 sc2 race in 1 matchup in 1 map. Looking forward to it!
Dude im so happy to see you back :D Since you are such an expert on esports now I would love to see some videos on the esports industry. Stuff like stories from your jobs, how you managed to get started, etc., I'd be very interested in that.
Hey, I'm glad your back, your videos before have helped me improve my skill level in multiple games and I have always enjoyed your commentary. I'm really happy for your success this past year and a half! Dude, I hope you keep it up and can't wait to see what you come out with next.
Hey Skyline, we've missed you, glad to see you're back and better than ever! :) For me, I just loved to see your Overwatch related content, your videos helped me climb out of the lower ranks, and I'd love to see some more Overwatch content. Thank you!
Honestly I forgot about you but I’m actually happy about that cause when I saw this video I got the same joy I got the first time I watched one of your videos and that was an awesome feeling . Glad to have you back Skyline !!! I’m really happy and proud for you and what you’ve been able to accomplish in this past year , it gives me motivation to put my mind to my goals and work towards it . Looking forward to the upcoming videos , hopefully some OW videos and your thoughts on how they can change 3/3
Good to have you back! I would like to see some OWL analysis videos like you did before (back then it was some competitive games and contenders I believe).
So great to see you back and hear how you've been! Wow, that all sounds amazingly exciting and awesome, congratulations on all you've achieved! I have always appreciated how your channel was so focused on positivity, and that was why I joined your discord. Even with the long hiatus, I met some of the best friends and community in Skycord and appreciate it more than you know. It is very disamying to hear that Blizzard tried to strongarm you over something so small. So mafia-like, yikes. Glad that you are so devoted to being true to yourself and to us listening and watching. Good luck from here on!
Something I really want, that doesn't currently exist, is discussion of high-level communication and coordination in Overwatch, specifically in an organized pro team environment. On a professional level, what should a team's comms look like, how does a team plan/communicate simple or complicated plays, etc.
Ive missed the ever loving fuck out of you dude i'm glad you've experienced so much and were glad you are back!, I think some videos on how to tell when a teamfight is winnable or done in team based games, or possibly a video on how to practice a character, hero, champion efficiently
Jeff Kaplan: Rages against WoW changes. Gets hired by Blizzard. Skyline: Makes a non aggressive opinion about balancing. Gets blacklisted by Blizzard 🤔
You were a game changer in how i view playing computer games, not only overwatch, by far still the best youtuber iv run across!! I even use some of your gaming "psycology" in my work, with learning curves ect. Glad to see a new vid from you!! :)
halleluja! after watching the video: i went from "oh another Steven Seagal " to "one little thing serious?" and "now it makes sense". I think this video suits you much more than the last 5 you did.even though it was kinda hard to watch in the beginning. Maybe this overconfidence goes into the same as the "i need to be 99.999% sure" thing ;) I'm looking forward to see some insights to your work and experience, as much as some content regarding other competitive games, regardless if you can hold up to what you say you could ;) much respect and keep creating
Skyline, your videos have always been remarkable to me. Throughout the whole god damn 1.5 year, I would still remember many of the ideas and info from your videos etc Especially the April fools one which I totally lost it XD You have been one of my favourite youtube channel and I have been really sad when you stopped uploading videos, always wondering where you have been. I'm very very excited and happy to both see you back, and to anticipate for more future contents! Please forgive my poor English TAT Much Love, Skyline!
I was disappointed when you stopped posting videos, but I knew you were moving on to bigger things. You were too good not to! I'm glad that you are back!
Blizzard has always been like this wolf in a sheep clothing kind of company, they have this holier than thou attitude where instead of looking at their own mistakes, they always try to point out whats wrong with the person criticizing. I know this from personal experience like where no matter what proof you give them they will say its your Internet thats bad. The two instances where I experienced this first hand were same occurrences of people getting kicked out of the match from both teams at the same time. First time I visited the forums where people were already complaining about this in one of the thread, that all people from both teams were getting kicked from the match, Blizzard solution was the generic port opening steps and assuming every player from random different part of world had bad internet exactly at the same time. They were just not ready to listen that if all players faced the same issue at the same time then it might be the game not the players. Second time when exactly same thing happened and I explained the whole issue in detail along with video proof that all 12 people from both teams were getting kicked randomly and only thing i said aggressively "Its tough when you are trying to grind in ranked and game bites you in the A**", ofcourse after that instead of focusing on all the proofs and in detailed explanation of the issue I was simply banned for saying "A**". This company might act as the friendliest of bunch from the outside when in reality they are just a bunch of asshole who think they are better than everyone. P.S. Good to see you made the best out of the shit you got from Blizzard for being constructive , awaiting more content from you.
Lul blizzard sends skyline one email saying he knows nothing but now he comes back with a galaxy brain and unbeatable portofolio
A skyline video? That's impossible!
Nice to see you're back
That is really lame to hear that blizzard took that advice as an attack, especially when you have youtubers like Stylosa who constantly are leaking content and criticizing the balance team but still get to work with Blizzard esports
That is so messed up
Kyle Cagayan about 14:00
Basically Skyline flexing on us for 22 minutes straight
Just kidding man we missed your videos
And I was surprisingly ok with , actually I’m proud of him 👍
Forgot to keep it positive for the last 483 days. Glad for the reminder!

That's honestly super sad to hear that Blizzard messaged you saying that. Honestly extremely petty for a massive business.

Literally watched a video of yours yesterday. We've missed you so much.

He's only been gone a year lol

Welcome back Skyline, looking forward for more videos!

wow! you've really been around
+1 about your channel giving a positive perspective, very true. Fav video is still the mentality guide. Looking forward to see what your do next.
Since you did stuff with Street Fighter, i want to see more content about fighting games in general, or the recent Under Night Inbirth game if can. There's many topics you can talk about in the fighting game community.

All of your excellent Ana content from way back in S3 is still burned into my brain so much so that I think about it whenever I play now. glad to see both her and you come back into the meta. Regardless of where you land from a content standpoint, the mentality will be worth the sub. I look forward to it.
Its pretty funny i just looked at your page last night to see if you had uploaded anything recently.
i knew having the bell notifications for this channel would be worth it :') glad to see you back, skyline! looking forward to all the new content
Glad to have you back. Loved watching your vod breakdowns!
Nice to see you back! I'm glad you took your time to get the experience you wanted and am happy for you. I can't wait to see the future of your content :)
I'm so glad you are back! I missed your doggo... Glad it made its appearance at the end!
It’s the second coming of skyline
Hallelujah
Sean Sullivan HAHAHAHAHAHHA
Skyline, you played a big part in sparking my joy of Overwatch and interest in the mentality of playing and improving. Almost two years ago, you inspired me to create my first Overwatch team, which lead to me meeting lots of people that have become important in my life, including my girlfriend.
I love what you are doing and hope to see you continue doing it.
Glad to see you back ! You the one who where giving me overall map knowledge, thank you for that again !
youre actually insane and I love it. the content you put out now will be legendary.
I always liked your channel but damn I have a whole lot more respect for you now, not because of what you achieved (not that you didn't achieve a lot), but why you did it. You were humble enough to agree you didn't have the experience etc and I'm glad to have you back.
"The ten people who missed me."
I always appreciated your videos and I'm glad to see you back; I missed you.
Good to see you back. Really loved your videos, looking forward to more.
You're amazing. This is the absolute best reason for a hiatus I could've heard. You are the most level headed. I like to let my son watch your vids as well. So glad you're back.
You inspire me to try harder on my business ideas! Thanks for the content its nice to have you back.
Holy shit I'm so happy skylines back. Tbh i kinda teared up when he said he's back to youtube
Welcome back Skyline and congratulations on stepping up to take the pro gaming challenge!
honestly completly forgot about you, but seeing you again reminded me again of the best overwatch videos i saw back then.I hope that you will make those game challenges, id suggest also including the methods you achieved said goal
it’s hard to find someone as genuine and passionate as you on this platform nowadays
Holy moly. I just got beamed over here from Jayne and this is the first time I’ve seen your channel, top quality left and right and almost certainly for the future as well!
So glad you're back!
Awesome story. Glad you're back. I'm excited for the new content.
Good to have you back man, I always loved your videos because you did not shy away from calling out the mistakes the devs make

I no longer play OW but i Love your breakdowns of strats for gaming in general, all from a pick strat in OW to a bild order for 1 sc2 race in 1 matchup in 1 map. Looking forward to it!
Dude im so happy to see you back :D
Since you are such an expert on esports now I would love to see some videos on the esports industry. Stuff like stories from your jobs, how you managed to get started, etc., I'd be very interested in that.
Hey, I'm glad your back, your videos before have helped me improve my skill level in multiple games and I have always enjoyed your commentary. I'm really happy for your success this past year and a half! Dude, I hope you keep it up and can't wait to see what you come out with next.
...Skyline's back. I'm not crying, youre crying.
Hey Skyline, we've missed you, glad to see you're back and better than ever! :)
For me, I just loved to see your Overwatch related content, your videos helped me climb out of the lower ranks, and I'd love to see some more Overwatch content. Thank you!

Honestly I forgot about you but I’m actually happy about that cause when I saw this video I got the same joy I got the first time I watched one of your videos and that was an awesome feeling . I thought you ended up doing irl stuff. Nice to see you're back.
Good to have you back!
I would like to see some OWL analysis videos like you did before (back then it was some competitive games and contenders I believe).
Glad to see you back. Always enjoy your videos and philosophy.
Great to have you back. Don't lose yourself in this business.
So great to see you back and hear how you've been! Wow, that all sounds amazingly exciting and awesome, congratulations on all you've achieved! I have always appreciated how your channel was so focused on positivity, and that was why I joined your discord. Jeff Kaplan: Rages against WoW changes. Gets hired by Blizzard.
Skyline: Makes a non aggressive opinion about balancing. Gets blacklisted by Blizzard 🤔
Fruityloopz Shows how much the company has changed
Jeff Kaplan's rage was about Everquest, which he was a hardcore raider for.
Man I'd love to pick your brain on each of your experiences and challenges this past year. 20 min videos are not enough
Man I missed your content. So glad you are back! looking forward to being enlightened on competitive games once more.
He's back!! Welcome back!!
I'm so surprised, but the good kind of surprise!
Welcome back. I'm excited for next year's video!
aaah, skyline! nice to have you back!
You were a game changer in how i view playing computer games, not only overwatch, by far still the best youtuber iv run across!! I even use some of your gaming "psycology" in my work, with learning curves ect. Glad to see a new vid from you!! :)
Finished the video, and realised that what i wrote seemed super fake xD everything is written before the vid tho!! :)
halleluja!
after watching the video:
i went from "oh another Steven Seagal
" to "one little thing serious?" and "now it makes sense".
Awesome! OWL, Comps, theorycrafting, countering the comp!
bless overwatch for making me know a channel like this all those months ago
We the OGs!!! Gaming philosophy is great future content
Very glad to hear about your adventures, your productivity is very inspiring. Much love and welcome back!
Omg I missed you. I wasn't highly active or anything but I loved your videos. can't wait to see your new stuff
