I love the baby pokemon, it’s nice to see not-fully-evolved non-rule box pokemon get to do something, even if that something isn’t always majorly impactful
Honestly, I could totally see the vision for Blissey Mysterious Treasure's Poké-Power, given that 2007 Electivire/Dragonite played Dragon Frontiers Elekid to take advantage of Dragon Frontiers Electabuzz's Poké-Power. Sadly, not only would Gardevoir rain on this parade, but Blissey tragically even brought its Poké-Power's own worst enemy--Cessation Crystal--with it, simply because it was more effective.
Whimsicast definitely not capitalizing on the Budew hype by referencing the first baby Pokémon to become an essential staple. Speaking of which, do you think Budew will be a positive force in the Prismatic Evolution format and onward, bringing future formats on par with the Paradox Rift format for fun and interactiveness? Or is it just another nail in the coffin of players forced to start on turn 1 with no attack and no Supporter?
in pokemon tcg land coughing baby solos hydrogen bomb
Coughing baby controls the production of hydrogen bombs
Coughing Bomb vs Hydrogen Baby
I play tcg live and I need a translation 😂
Cleffa doesn't solo Hydrogen so...
WHO. IS. COUGHING. BABY??

For sure!
unrelated but i loooove the aesthetic of the card formatting from the hgss era so much
@@charlesdavis5540 same. Maybe it'd be worth making an hgss retrospective one day
Just subscribed to the channel recently, I love the information you guys give on the past history of the TCG. And your vintage matches.
Thanks for the support :)
Cleffa is why I refuse to play Neo.
Neo has all sorts of quirks, but I think it's really fun overall, especially compared to Base era

The deck slots put towards Happiny could be 4 ER2, PokeDex, or utility Supporters. Blissey is broken
@@WhimsicottTCG Good point. (It's hilarious how much the attack's effect got power-crept when Blissey's spiritual successor Blissey V emerged.)
