0:51 Man was like: "I felt a great disturbance in the Force... like someone broke a bunch of spaghetti"
The bird was also Italian and was like che cazzo fai
@@jamesrayson4478Gli ha detto "Aho, sbrigate che ha spezzato gli spaghetti e mo li scuoce!"
As an Italian, this was fun. But when you broke those spaghetti, you also broke my heart.
Same🥺 but I did have quite the laugh🤣
Not Italian myself. But the pasta and coffee gave me a bit of panic. Lol but it was fun to watch!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you look closely it's low quality spaghetti.
Your heart is hardened dough?
This is like an Italian horror movie. 😱 Overcooking the pasta killed me.
😂😅
I always overcook pasta! 😂 I like it better that way!
so true ahahahah
Hitchcock level horror 😱
And it's all True!
I was offended by the ice in the wine and I’m not even Italian 😂😂
me too!
Same!!! 🤌
that was so rude 🍷🧊❌
Sure, that offended thousands of millions of wine lovers.
Many of these rule are not just Italian but for any civilized person :) And my wife puts ice in her rose. Admittingly, the cheapest rose money can buy in Canada
Oh my goodness! The sound of that crow in the background, and that overhead shot of Allesio jumping off the swing set, elevated this very, very, very good video to greatness! Every moment was so wickedly charming and funny!
I was laughing my 🍑 off 😂😂😂. Married to an Italian for 25 years and still learning the “Rule Book”. Bread upside down was new to me… he verified it. 🙃🍞
What does it mean?
@@TLG-nc4ff Attracting bad omens in the family, is what my husband says.🤷🏻♀️
It's about respect for bread. Bread has a special meaning in Europe. Respect for bread symbolizes respect for food, which was sometimes lacking in various parts of Europe due to wars or crop failures. Turning the bread upside down it is like about turning a sacred image face up to the wall.
@@TLG-nc4ff the bread is a symbol of the body of jesus christ, so if the bread is turned around its like turning the back to heaven/god.
@@martaorsos1872 Yes, I was taught it is a sin.
Swing on the Swing until he felt a disturbance in the Pasta-Force, was priceless.
This is a masterpiece! I can't see through all the tears :D Best part is the raven in the background on the playground. LMAO
But seriously tho - ice in red wine - NO!!!!!!
we're so glad you like it!!
I thought it was going to get scary. I wonder if the wife ever saw the movie "The Birds " , an Alfred Hitchcock movie?
More like a Harry Potter scene.
More like a Harry Potter scene.
Jesse breaking all the rules under 3 minutes! 😮 😅
Compliments for the filmography, it looked so professional 👌
Glad you enjoyed it! grazie mille
@@ThePasinis This is so relatable. My Persian wife compulsively violates as many of my German-American rules as she can most days. At least this was all a nightmare.Sadly, I keep waking up to things crammed into every possible nook and cranny so that the house appears clean.
I wish the ending had continued with Jessi laying back down devilishly smiling. Yep Amore totally a dream. . . . . Also all my cats loved the crow sounds.
They got that ending because Scorsese wouldn't lend them his horse's head for the close.
@@SmallSpoonBrigade why Scorsese? That one was from F.F. Coppola. The basics, dude. 😄
Before being Italian, I am Friulian. Wine is always drunk in the company of good friends. Bread is something that, together with polenta, must never be missing from the table. You always make me laugh out loud. And I'm glad, every now and then, to see the shirt with the Friuli flag appear. 😎😎
ciao Lorenzo, ma dove hai visto la maglietta del Friuli? Sono mezza friulana e ho guardato attentamente il video x 3 volte e non l'ho individuata
@@paolina525 non in questo video. In altri video Alessio la indossa
@@lorenzogobbo966 ahh. Grazie di avermi risposto. Mandi
You two make my day! I grew up in a town in upstate N.Y. that was 95% Italian! I can picture the smoke coming from the ears of all the Italian mom’s. It’s hard to break tradition!
Do you mind me asking what town that is? I grew up in the Bronx. I never thought Italians could move upstate with little to no access to Italian food markets. That’s what my parents always said to me. Lol
@@roefully south of Rochester
@@roefully Did you and your family go shopping on Saturdays in Arthur Avenue?
We lived nearby and that street was a haven for us! ❤🎉😋
Agree. Makes my day too. They really know how to put together videos.
I have to admit I flinched when you crossed your silverware, but I cried when you broke the spaghetti. Great fun video!
This had me in stitches 😂
You two make really good hilarious short films. Keep them coming. Videography, music and comic timing 👌🏼
❤
Thank you so much!!
This is a cinematic masterpiece. The crow in the background and the overhead shot at the playground. 😂 Imagine this debuting at an indie film festival, with those rules as English subtitles!
You two are so fun😄🥰❣️
grazie mille!!
Alessio waking up sweating was hilarious 🤣. Keep up the good work
Ohhh, the ice in the wine was a dagger to the heart!
You forgot add ketchup!
What’s with the ketchup?
Instead of tomato on the pasta or the pizza
@@adeliomoro2069 on the pasta
And pineapple too!
Ok now that was the cutess video you two have ever made!!! I loved it!! So funny!! I give it a 10 out of 10!!!
Very creative ⚠️ wait for your vlog. Don’t get out much so it’s a fantastic treat to watch. Thank you 🙏🏽 I’m Native American (Indian), a lot of the no no’s remind me of ours. It reminds me that we are more similar in something’s than we think.❄️💜❄️
❤️
such a good wife, putting the blinds down so she doesnt have to see her brake the rules 😂
Madonna! I could not stop cringing and laughing at the same time! My heart raced as I watched! It was stressful and hilarious all at once!
Absolutely hilarious, very well done & edited, BRAVO!!!💜💜💜
A silent movie in color! Awesomeness! Great job, both of you!
Wow the editing and cinematography is of top quality. Really a great video.
Hahahah this is great! Only thing that could make this better is if you did it all on the 17th! Italians swear the #17 is bad luck 🤣 Hope you make more of these...so cute!
Lol I'm watching it on the 17th!!
Only Friday 17th... Not every 17...but if you born on a Friday 17th you'll be a super lucky person.
In Italy bad luck is number 13
@@MercuryBlether The irony today is also the 17
@@carlac440717 is "the misfortune" . every number has a meaning from 1 to 90.
1. Italia 2 the baby 3 the cat...
13. Saint Anthony
17. The misfortune
90. The fear
Ice in the wine??? That's not even an Italian rule; that's a rule of all decent society! Every wine producer in America is crying. 😭
Loved the video. My favorite bit was when you raised your glass to your husband and then proceeded rolling the blind down.😂
a lot of these rules have meaning (like cold water for the pasta there is less bacteriological issues, no oil in the water it is useless it goes on top, no ice in wine it reduces the flavor...), the others are superstition or tradition (like the bread upside down or do not break the spaghetti).
I love your videos. They are funny and informative, but more important you are both seem very authentic. I could feel the excitement and the disappointment in your trip to NYC. The fact that you’re both so unassuming and relatable is what keeps me coming back. It’s one of the major attributes that differentiates you from others, on both UA-cam and Instagram.
Keep up the good work!
CJB
P.S. Looking forward to when you both return to Italy and roles are reversed.
There’s just something about the menacing smile on Jessy’s face for me… 😂
What a beautiful piece of Italian cinema!
Excellent filmography & subject matter!! Your defiant facial expression was the cherry on top (chef kiss)
Lol She's just there living her best life. This video is Gold.
This was too cute. I was cracking up and cheering for you while breaking all the rules!!! So reckless haha jk sound and editing was great also! ❤
Haha! This was great! Best thing I've watched all week. Thank you!
This is hysterical and the music you chose is a perfect dramatic compliment! 👏😂😂😂😂😂😂
Loved this! I could hear my mother correcting everything and the bread nearly made me cry. Can't tell you how many times I got smacked for turning the bread upside down. It makes Jesus cry. Lol. Good memories.
Married to an Italian...can relate 200%... It took so many ruined table cloths for him to stop insisting on using one...We both laughed so hard watching the video
Love your videos! Your love for each other shines so strong! ❤️
LOL, this might be one of my favorites. I crazy laughed. 😂
I laughed through the entire video. 🤣 Too dang funny.
Omg hilarious! I thought I was the only one suffering my husband’s “Spanish rules” but apparently it’s a European thing!
Very creative video, funny but so true! Bravissimi! Buona domenica 🎉
Technically…this should be a sci fi horror short over on Dust lol
That was really great, I enjoyed every minute. Thank you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm italian and I ALWAYS use hot water to cook pasta! 😂
🤣🤣🤣 what a cute video. You guys are so entertaining. Thank you so much for putting a smile on my face at such a stressful time I'm going through
😊 thank you
Hope things get better for you soon ✨💫
We bought a house in an Italian neighborhood in Toronto 12 years ago. Best neighbors ever. The older gentlemen took it upon themselves to teach me their ways as to watering the garden, trimming the grape vines, cutting the grass, sweeping the driveway and sidewalks, and of course, growing tomatoes. This Manga Cake is almost an honorary Italian now.
Son morta 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear Americans are the ones to mess up the Italian rules the most lol
Perfect-o! The entire video reminds me of my government job, where in order to meet their mantra of "customer service" you have to break the rules that prevent you from doing your job.🎉🎉🙏🎉😂
I hope you survive, God be with you 🤣
The ice in the wine was likely the worst crime. My heart was shattered.
This is Alessio's Friday the thirteenth. Lol
Hahaha This was a great video! Be free Jessi!!! Hahaha
props to alessio for filming the final scene with wet hair, he must've been dying inside
Who put ice on the wine? 🤢
It's a American tradition going back to the 8th century
@@grateful.The 8th century? Didn't know the American natives used to drink wine.
LMAO
@@amrita8815 wtf are you talking about
@grateful. the 8th century went from 700 to 799 AC. At that time north America was inhabited by the Natives and South America by Incas, Mayan and so on. There was no wine, let alone ice cubes. What tradition are you talking about?
@@amrita8815 yeah bro they had wine and ice
Bwahahaha. Jessi is a rebel and I love it.
I can’t stop laughing, this is a masterpiece 😂😂
Ohhhh , the Paris Candle! 😂
Hilarious 😂
That was comedic genius 🤣
you invented most of these "Italian rules", because we don't have them here.... the others are just to make an ad hoc video of stereotypes.
The music, and the drone shot of alessio running off the swing at the park was just perfect
This is my favorite one EVER. 😂😂😂
Hilarious!! Loved this... so well done, guys!
Il finale ha salvato il video...
The ending saved the video...
😵💫
LOL! Grandparents are from San Prisco and we came a very big Italian family. Grew up in East Haven, CT which is still very Italian. Loved this video. You two did a great job! I'm still laughing!!!🤣
I'm French. Once, I saw an American dropping ice cubes in a glass of Bordeaux. The whole room was : "Nooooo !"
So hilarious how he could sense something, so many things you did wrong..😂😂😂
This is high quality. Top cinematography, acting, story, humor, music, details, everything.
As an American, ice in the wine is not cool. As an American married to a Korean, no shoes in the house is such a good change.
I wish there was one of these about French/Belgian rules too😅 I still remember my husband's friend's shock when I ate 2 hot meals a day. Leftovers from last night's dinner are "not done" for lunch in Belgium and the Netherlands, only a cold sandwich or salad.
In Spain is pretty much the same as our italian brothers.
Ps: Wine with ice....omg can't believe it, that hurts
This was great. It would have been funny to have Jessi appear at the very end with an evil look in her eye eating the spaghetti. Maybe it was a dream. Maybe it wasn’t 😂
Lol. When you broke the pasta your husband was like" there's a disturbance in the force"
That was hilarious. I thought all of that was a joke -- until I went to Italy the first time. LOL.
I am italian, and i learnt about the bread upside down rule from this video. Thanks, i do not know how i had missed it, it indeed makes perfect sense.
That was funny!!🤣🤣. You should of given a smirk at end when he thought he was dreaming!! 😉😜. 🇬🇧🐶
I’m not Italian and passed out 3 times watching this😅😅😂
Hilarious
I laughed so much esp when he came to the windows 😂
All Asians and Europeans were laughing till the "shoes" moment 😂
I know the rule book...... but this is so satisfying lmao 😂
Breaking the spaghetti was way to much to bear for me, I had to pause the video, pour a glass of wine and skip the scene completely.
Great video, and really to the point, grazie mille!
My mum was Italian and she broke her spaghetti in half. Each Italian believes that their way is the Italian way and every other Italian is wrong!
I’m Italian but American Italian. So I have done all of these things. Hahaha great job on this video, Jessie and Alessio!
Are you Italian or American Italian or Italian American?
This made me laugh so God damn much. The tense music with the running, had me in tears. Thank you for the laughs, I really needed this. ❤️
❤️
Those spaghetti were innocent.... you monster! 😂
You two are funny - and I think everything comes from the heart as you love and respect each other! 🤗
This was hard to watch 😂😬 especially the pasta part…and the ice cubes in the wine.
THIS WAS HILARIOUS - but i saw you broke the big unsaid rule with the candle - DO NOT MENTION FRANCE. Brava and bravo to the both of you!!!!
He heard the pasta break and went running home lol
The intense string music is an excellent choice. Very funny. Also interesting with the bread rule! France has the same
I can tell you guys have been having fun with your drone 😂 love this keep ‘em coming
hahahah yes now the drone is our new baby
Great video ! You guys are reaching a pro level … I love the dramatic effect that bring that music …
While I greatly enjoyed your NYC series, I'm so glad you and kitty u are back in your beautiful home and not in some tiny, overpriced apartment. Much love!
Brilliant production - that was great. Laughing out loud.
This was so awesome. I love the storytelling aspect of it. 😆❤️
Oh my God! It’s so hectic and fun! I immediately shared this to my Italian friend to ask him how many rules he applies. We may have a fun battle ( 👄 and 🤌) soon 😂. I can’t wait to break his rules too. Lol. Thanks for great thrilling clip! Keep it up! Kisses and hugs from Vietnam. ❤
