This is a very cool challenge! New and reclaimed materials have their own difficulties. New you probably paid good money so you have to be extra careful not to mess up but reclaimed is always a bit out of whack so you have to adjust for it. I love this idea and can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Brett sent me over..
@Uwannawatch Brilliant, yes I've not worked with reclaimed timber like this for years. I've made a good start on my project and had a few hickups already one being hitting a really obvious nail with my thicknesser 😭 I'm having fun though having to use my imagination.

Interesting very interesting. I do live edge and reclaimed as you no but reckon bret got the better bundle there. Although those first 2 chunks hardwood look nice. I see a breakfast bar in there potentially 🤔👍🏴
I love the items I received off Brett as I'm having to really think 🤔 I think this could possibly be one of my favourite builds.
@@karlpopewoodcraft yea must say holds lot of interesting possibilities as say breakfast bar was first thing came to mind although TV cabinet with sliding drawers is also a possibility 🤔
