Regarding Din's Amban, I think I've used the ability maybe once and blanked it lol, so don't feel bad. It's like what you guys were saying with Boba's standby; it makes for a good deterrent. The real benefit is the Immobilize tokens, which make Din VERY good at keeping enemy units locked in melee with him.
That is true it does keep them locked in. I do like the better dice and immune Pierce on the spear too. Thanks for watching!

Dooku's fate reminds me of a time I lost a Clone Commander to a solo B1 in melee. Seriously, I had a dodge and a surge token, the B1 walked up without an aim, and just Crit me to death. it was so dumb.
I had a lot of hope when Ventress did 4 wounds to Din in one hit, but then the med bots rolled up and were just like, "what damage?"
Sometimes, the sith just fall.
She is very strong and will only get better each time he brings her. Thanks for watching!

Sorry if this got mentioned before but I didn't see it. I don't think it was a factor in the game but immobilize only gives out immobilize tokens if a wound is suffered, I think one of Din's attacks did no damage.

hey guys, i got into legion a couple of weeks ago, and after i found your channel i kind of binged almost all of your battle reports and i really want to say thank you for the good quality content you produce. Also you have an awesome gaming room i am very jealous of.
One thing i would really like to see one day would be a really vertical battle map, like buildings with multiple areas that go up to height 3, with some stairs, ladders or just use of some grappling hooks or scale units. I havent found anything like that on youtube, maybe you can consider it. or at least have like one side of the battle map be a big mountain or cliff (maybe also including the sith falls). another idea would be something like a venator class reactor room or something like the first area of the duel betweeen maul and Qui Gon and Obi Wan, a big space with only narrow walkways on multiple levels with elevators or ladders between them. maybe spread some barricades and boxes around and it should be enough cover.
i mean there are so many abilites like scale, jump or jetpacks in the game, i dont think they got used enough

My rebel officer has been put in the odd scenario where he has been charged by a 1 wound Anakin and another separate occasion by a 1 wound Sith Fall Vader. He not only survived but boxed both of them to death 😂. He was a professional boxing champion in his army days I guess

Great game! Lando was my first Legion mini; I started late in wave 13 but I agree. He’s a little expensive but I still love him. Sith falls hard!

Couple of things to note.
Force choking the leader on the pathfinders would have kill Bistan.
Boba gets to add an extra die for rule with respect because it doesn't specify another unit
Boba would not, the card states while boba has a face up order token and when you activate he no longer does. As for the pathfinder force choke that is interesting, I will double check on that. Thanks for watching!

I've rarely seen so many Sith fall in a game than this. Din & Boba are a tough combination to crack, and Joe had the advantage of just sitting still and waiting for the Sith to come to him. Good game!

Sith falls are like trust falls, but they're involuntary and often start with a Force Choke.
Never underestimate those non-melee units rolling hot. I had some clones punch out a taun taun unit that a Clone Commander finished off with his melee.

Sith Falls sounds like the place Palpatine vacations to in the summers lol I really don't know what to think about Lando. I was really excited for him when he first came out but I've never really seen anyone play him or talk about him and he's never in any top tier lists. For such an iconic character it's really sad

Obligatory cause for Joe's therapy bills - but constructive! When maul dove the pathfinders, you were waffling about duck and cover. Not only does duck and cover not work, but danger sense itself only works against ranged attacks, not melee! (EDIT: my mistake, that must have been pre-CRB! Current ruling just says attack, not ranged. Apologies!) Regardless, the sith did fall to the curse of red dice!

Can't underestimate that rebel trooper melee! I've had mine suplex Palpatine and Yoda to take them out; but also been on the receiving end and had a unit of mando's totally shanked by some rebel troopers before too. Maybe one of them needs a The Sith Will Fall tattoo or something on an arm, hmmm.

The Sith Falls, clearly they needed Grievous too. Although I think to run a CIS list with all the sabers it would need to not be Don with his dice luck on a low act expensive list like that.
Seeing the comparison of Lando and Cassian is such an eye opener to just how underpowered Lando is. The fact that Cassian with his gun upgrade, duck and cover and recon intel is 1 point less than Lando is nuts. Duck and cover + danger sense is a lot better defense than lando's uncanny luck 2 and with tactical and marksman it kind of just negates the lack of sharpshooter, especially when he has k2 to feed him aims.

Any tips on painting white on clones? Also any ideas on rebel lists using the truck?
I prime in a very light gray. Then a wash the whole mini with a 40% nuln oil and 60% medium. While it’s wet I use black or black contest to fill in the areas of black. Since they are filled with wash you just have to touch with the tip of the brush and it will suck the paint in. Then add any colors and highlights you want and the guns.. then your done. Zorpazap has a great video walking through this. Thanks for watching!

I think min 49 when maul attacked the pathfinders the 3rd times the defence was with the wrong amount of dice but it did not matter anyway

Just wanted to point out/ask, why Force choke Bistan at this point:

Force choking the Unit Leader, removes Bistan (effectively dealing two wounds for the price of one) as Bistan must morph to the new unit Leader leader.
