I like seeing how the buyer guides change over the years. While Rebels have a lot of choices it is all about matching the right leader to the troop types.
At least I knew I got some great stuff; my rebels consists of a rebel captain, Sabine, rebel veterans, clan wren, mandolorian commandos and the snowspeeder. Even my rebel officer and veterans are 3d printed mandos for a fluffy list
Love these videos, and all of the Legion stuff you do. If you are thinking about future video subjects, would you mind considering a list of the hard plastic versus soft plastic kits? Those like me that only buy miniatures for the hobby of build and paint would love something like that. I wish the manufacturers would just charge a coupe extra bucks and do all hard plastic, but a video like that would really help in the meanwhile. Keep up the great work...I'm recommending your channel to everyone that sees my miniatures and want to get into Legion.
As a Rebel only player that has at least one of everything (except the AA5). I still like seeing these. Mostly agree but my personal bias would bump up anything Rogue One up, probably bump Clan Ren down just because they are expensive to run in game and Rebels generally want high activation count and they cut into that. I’ll agree however that you should just get what you like and Rebels are great for that being a very character driven faction.
tauntauns are literally overpowered. i love them theyre so fun. get them. rebel pathfinders+jyn erso are also highly recommended from me. i also like lando calrissian his command cards are insane
Will there be one of these videos made for the Shadow Collective as well? I'd say Crabbok's doing Separatists next and then GAR last, unless there is a Shadow Collective buyers guide in the works too.
Been really starting to think about getting some Legion stuff. I'm right in understanding that out of all of the miniatures games for Star Wars, this is Star Wars' Warhammer isn't it?
I have pretty much settled on rebels being my second faction, with all my wookiees from GAR and now rebel commandos that I picked up for playing Spec Ops. I agree that the rogue 1 characters are probably a little harder to understand how to use, but Cassian and the pathfinders are just such cool units imo. We shall see how soon it is before I fully dive into rebs.
I really struggle with special forces slots for rebels. Also own almost everything outside of that role. Besides commandos which i do own, thinking of either getting pathfinders or clan wren.
nice guide, i just hope they release more of those strike force boxes with diferents factions, maybe some andor rebels, hear they will release ewoks maybe combine them with wokkies and some forest rebels.
I jumped into this game in 2018 and stopped in 2019. I want to get back into this, and holy cow, there are options. I'm staying with Imperials and Rebels. This video helps a lot. What about terrain? What's a good affordable (hopefully) terrain option?
If you're in the UK search for some bargains - Dark Star Games, Titan Games, Beanie Games, Item Drop, Geeky Zone, Dark Sphere all have discounts on different things from time to time.

Thanks again for all your content! Just started ALL the Star Wars ttgs (Armada, X-Wing, Legion, and Scatterpoint)! Been an expensive month!!! 😂

Thank you for putting these videos out!
Thanks for the video! Looking to get into Legion this year so it really helped me out
Thanks for the vid!! I’m always down for a legion video!!
Thanks for the update! I liked seeing Han near the top.
Even though I've been in on Legion since launch, these videos are always fun to watch.

These videos are awesome. I assume there will be guides for the other factions as well...
Love these videos! Still waiting for the republic buying guide lol
Thanks for the recommendations but also prefacing it with the fun first priority.
Awesome seeing this return for 2023

I wish I had seen this before. I bought Rebel Fleet troopers for my first Rebel expansion but I'm thinking I should have gotten Echo Base.
I will be using this and the empire one as I only have Droids and a Clone Army

You rock, awesome video.

The AA-5 is really cheap here in the UK - I got 2 for £15 each inc post. One before Christmas and one more recently

Thanks crabbok great video as usual
Huge! Ty!
Could we someday Get a video on your storage set up For all your miniature games?!
The update is great but I am also hoping they continue the battleforce release style. #gimmegungans
I’m wanting to get into this, but I only have like £50 at max to spend, do you recommend saving or buying some now?
50 is enough for a squad and commander no better time than now to buy in
See if you have a buddy you could split a starter set with
If you can find someone to split a core set with that will work. Otherwise you MIGHT wanna save up a bit more.
If you're in the UK search for some bargains - Dark Star Games, Titan Games, Beanie Games, Item Drop, Geeky Zone, Dark Sphere all have discounts on different things from time to time.
Core sets usually drop to $66 USD during holiday sales, if you dont mind waiting that'll be a great way to start.
Rebels have good options out there but the current meta seems to be pretty rough on them. If you run rebels you’ll need a plan to deal with it
Is there a good source of printable cards that have been updated?
What about mercs like pykes. You didnt include any in the empire vid either
I may need to pick up an upgrade card pack.
Can't seem to find it, but can you run either mini for Boba Fett, Daimyo?
Crabbok, is legion growing or dying? Should I still invest in the game?
Rebels def need a point reduction on some units. Leia is an option I would include on my list.
I think OP Luke should definitely get a pt reduction!
Thats great for new AND old players
Great Infos, thank you!
You listed almost everything in the faction :P
Thank you
I do want to make a rebel army so I can have an army ready if a friend wants to play
Leaving a comment for the giveaway!
AAAAAA ye iknew it :D
neat
what is with all the creepy hand movements in all of your videos?
great info and thanks for making the updated versions
