I love that both the parents and the two boys were all laughing like crazy. They were taking it far better than all the reactors on youtube I've seen 🙂
Yeah. If the words 'yo' or 'daymn' hadn't been invented they would have very little to say.
How do some reactors take it? I haven't watched any.
Generally a bit like you... I think the most general reaction is shock and not laughing their arses off like that family did.
They bought front row seats to a Frankie Boyle show. I think they knew what they were getting themselves in to.
@@SimplySavageReactions
some are horrified just like the football chants
the land of the free with apparent freedom of speech would apparently stop the games
Would I be close to the mark in guessing you would say the same about this show if it was in the USA
You can't beat freedom of expression
Nothing tops watching Americans react to Frankie Boyle 😂 their poor innocent little souls cant handle it
Jeremy Kyle is Britains equivalent to Jerry Springer.
Only Jerry Springer's guests didn't commit suicide.
@@vidiveniviciDCLXVI oh wow
@@SimplySavageReactions. Yes that’s what happened.
Hence the Jeremy Kyle show got taken of air.
@@timglennon6814 it actually got taken off the air because they wouldn't drop the lie detector because it was part of the basis of the whole show
The rock concert from Ethiopia part is a reverse of the live aid rock show that was held in 1985 to raise funds for the people of Ethiopia, then the bit about being on the brew it’s a slang word for being on government payment benefits for being unemployed or unable to work, hope this helps, really enjoy your reactions!!
The issue being that Belfast is a different part of the United Kingdom so he's come over to get the Brew whilst in Scotland despite not being Scottish.
Taught me something I thought he just meant he was on holiday getting pissed up
Alright now we're getting conflicting information lol! Which is it guys, alcohol related or unemployment related? It's weird because either way makes sense lol
@Purple Burglaralarm another guy pointed out that it actually says it on the subtitles
SO the joys of the English Language. If someone says "do you fancy a brew"- they are asking if you want a drink (usually hot, usually tea BUT could be cold and alcoholic). In THIS instance though, the Brew has a further specific meaning in Scotland which is welfare payments. In this case the man from Belfast is referring to welfare payments not having a drink. English- such a good language until we actually use it!
That "dead in a car crash" gag is still hilarious without context because he's just being ruthless to empty seats, but there is in fact some context, which not many are aware of - there was a story in the news that week about a couple who had just married in Glasgow and then died in a horrific road accident as they were driving away from the church, and Frankie jumped on that.
Lmao. At least they went to heaven looking eternally beautiful like Simon Weston. (glaswegians look like hillbillies through inbreeding so blessing from God)
No way I didn't know that.
The 'buroo' or 'brew' comes from the old Scottish and Irish way of saying 'bureau' and as others say, it means living on social security.
Nah on the brew means on the drink, as in came over to Scotland for week/weekend of drinking.
@@pearsethornton8361 don't be soft mate. I'm Scottish, and I just told you what it *really means.* My mother used to work at the Buroo, and the old student's union in Paisley was known as the Buroo, because it was in a former Social Security building. Why would you come in with a poorly informed contradiction like that? Are you okay?
Yir man was from Belfast and he was over "on the brew" meaning he was over "on the session" or "on the drink".... Don't be misleading ya spa 😂😂
@@tetramusic4408 another dumbass pops up to show me he knows *fuck all* too stupid to understand what you witnessed, yet dumbass arrogant enough to correct a native speaker! Clueless, fucking clueless.

Scots banter, the majority of us speak to eachother like this. Nobody gets offended as long as you use the right tone.

Thanks so much for watching and supporting the channel.
Your welcome boss🫶🏽all good 👍🏽
The lawyer deserved it. Nobody likes lawyers👍
"The bru" is from the old Employmnet Bureaue who payed out the unemployment benefit back in the old days.
I thought "on the brew" was drinking, but while watching it on yours in subtitles it says "On the brew (welfare)"
On the Bru means being unemployed and drawing social security benefits. Ha ha you’re reaction to this was very funny! We don’t mind a bit of savage humour in the UK
@@MonKeY19803 it means on the dole in Glasgow mate spelt buroo as opposed to the brew you’re meaning
Yeah but the chap is from Belfast and he actually means on the brew as in on the drink 🙌
Paisley is a very rough Scottish town.
"on the broo (not brew) means unemployed and claiming benefits
Yeah, "welfare" as our US friend would say.
1. Paisley is a town that has fallen on hard times following the decline of traditional industry then the collapse of the car production that replaced it resulting in long term unemployment & some of the worst social deprivation on the UK and even Europe.
2. On the "buroo" means the guy is unemployed and is receiving state welfare payments to live on
Bro wait till you do frankie boyle - micheal jacksons children hospital, the darkest funniest joke ever written mate 😂
Righto, subscribed from Australia.
I was born in Paisley it has a rep for drugs and petty crime among other things. Loved the reaction
Thanks for clicking the video instead of the other ones you could have. I never take you guys for granted.
I've just watched two of your videos back to back and subscribed, because I love to watch an intelligent man with a sense of humour discovering things I already know and love.
Wow thanks so much! I hate that you think I'm intelligent though lol. I am learning so much from you guys. It's crazy how supportive you are. You guys keep coming back to watch my videos, even with all of the huge youtubers videos, you choose to keep coming back to this channel. For that, I'm eternally grateful and I hope that one day, if the channel succeeds, I will be able to travel to the U.K. and organize a get together. That is my dream. To make a living doing something, make my 4 kids proud and show my gratitude to my subscribers.
He was 2 years older than me at both my schools he’s hilarious 😂
When my friend and I went to see Frankie's show we made damn sure to sit near the back :P Usually we try to get quite close to the stage, but not for that gig
On the brew is the Scottish term for not working but claiming unemployment benefit.
You reaction was priceless!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Makes me proud to be scottish 🏴
I like that you watch with subtitles so you can read the jokes 😂😂😂
Check out Jimmy car and Gary Delaney for more outrageous stuff. Also Stuart lee's Braveheart bit where he obliterates Scotland's national hero to a Scottish audience.
the " broo" social security ! derived from bureau
Another great reaction mate! 🙏🇬🇧✌
Its good to know that you're still sticking it out with us YORKSHIRESALT. You're.... what's the word I'm looking for? Great.....no, that's not it, ummmm you're aweso.....no that's not it right either. You're just, well.....Simply Savage! That's the one. Thanks for you're continued support of our channel.
Love your reactions 😍
Thanks Robert! I love that you love my reactions.
On the Brew, means just lazing around, sometimes means on the welfare system.
Brutal !
as someone from near kirkcaldy, it is indeed a shytehole
The key to seeing Frankie Boyle is sitting at the back. In the first 3 rows, he takes the piss massively.
The two empty seats, they actually died in a car crash on the way to the gig.
Well done for for watching Franky B I told you, you would like him. Next watch Jimmy Carr
I have at least one jimmy carr reaction on the channel if you haven't checked it out yet.
Thanks for the reply , just found it putting it on now. Gary Delaney is funny as Well
The joke about the people of Ethiopia holding a rock concert for the town of Kirkaldy is a reference to a huge charity concert event called LiveAid that happened in the UK in the 1980s, featuring dozens of the biggest music artists of the day, to raise money for aid for Ethiopia which was experiencing an extreme famine at the time
Hilarious
Bro! Love your videos, yoube gotta react to a British stand up called Chubby Brown one time!!!!
He’s great
Your reaction face looks like the painting by Edvard Munch The Scream
No problem with free speech in the UK!!😂🤣
Doesn't look like it at all lol
"On the bru" (bureau) unemployment benefit.
Yeah Chris's answer says it all!
On the buroo (pronounced Brew or Broo). A contraction of Bureau, an office from which unemployment benefits are distributed.
"On the buroo" - On the dole.

It's hilarious watching the americans reaction to british comedians. Don't they have these type of comics? Check out Micky Flannagan you'll love him. Real giggles thanks.
We do have comedians similar but it's more race related. It's refreshing to have somebody talk about the country as a whole lol no one is safe.
No holding back at a British comedy show ,IF your one of the P.C .Brigade stay away from a British comedy show. SIMPLES.
Thats everyday banter in britain...no one or anything is safe from ridicule from us. And its never took personally. lol
Could see you seemed a bit confused about the jeremy Kyle show joke, it’s the uk’s version of Maury/dr.Phil
On the Brew means on welfare.(It actually explained in the subtitles).
While the Republic of Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom since 1937, there is a reciprocal agreement between Ireland and the UK that they can live/work/claim benefits/vote/run for office in each others countries (This applies to Isle of Mann and Channel Islands too). Of course the Irish have the benefit of still being in the EU, so unlike the British they can live and work in any EU country as well.
Erm, just wondering if now you have seen him,are you considering changing the channel name?! 🤔🤣
i actually might pay for some company who is monetizing this.
I figured it wouldn't be eligible to be monetized. If copyright doesn't get you then the content is too vulgar or drops the f bomb or c*nt too much. I swear i wish i didn't have to but that's why i ask for donations, other channels get a ton of donations daily so im wondering if im doing something wrong lol. But hey, I enjoyed the video and will do part 2 even if it isn't monetized and I don't receive any donations. You guys are so supportive that I don't mind not getting paid for it. I'll get right back on some reactions as soon as I get back from taking my kids trick or treating! Thanks so much for watching and supporting the channel.
I’m from Glasgow it mean on social security 🤣
frankies the king.
You could ignore Frankie and he would just carry on ripping on you regardless 😂
He was Known for this people would go to his shows hoping he would target them.
On the brew is just their way of saying unemployed and collecting government welfare.
Truly shocking
The rock concert part: Ethiopia had a famine around the time this tour happened. In the UK, it was common for charities to hold rock concerts to raise funds. The idea is that Kercodie such a shit place that even famine-striken country will donate to it.
Have a look at "Micheal Jacksons childrens hospital ! By frankie now that is brutal !!! 😁👍
Great reaction. I'm impressed you managed to understand his accent - most American people don't hear a lot of what he's saying. If you like people being roasted then please check out Anthony Jeselnik and Greg Giraldo roasting famous people.
There were literally subtitles.
Social welfare or unemployment benefits. ("Broo" is colloquial slang for "bureau," a term for the Labour Exchange,
💚
6:34 That's a reference to Live Aid, a charity rock concert held for the starving people of Ethiopia in the mid 80's. Frankie switched it, Kirkcaldy is so poor Ethiopia raised money for them. Think of Kirkcaldy as The Bronx, sorry that's the only poor place I can think of in the US.
Don't use captions unless it's like this one, edited by a human. Google/UA-cam has a lot of trouble understanding accents
You need to check out Micky Flanagan he's a great comedian
On the brew means unemployed and claiming support
We've been getting conflicting info the meaning of that word. Some say he's referring to alcohol, but others like you say it means he's getting unemployment benefits from the government. We gotta get to a consensus here lol. Thanks for watching.
@@SimplySavageReactions that’s the English Dictionary meaning for brew in Scotland and N. Ireland the same as us it’s meaning getting unemployment benefits England and wales it’s the Dole .
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, it means unemployed and getting government payments (dole = welfare). I'm a scouser but worked on rigs for years, including a few spells "on the buroo" in Scotland.
Nothing to do with boozing.
On the brew is meaning on welfare, benefits
"On the brew" in American means he's on welfare
Yes someone mentioned that "broo" is short for bureau
f'bombs an your demonetized.. you guys dropped 2 freeking A'bombs !!
Check out Bottom and Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie please

Its a year late but brew means welfare
On the brew.. means on welfare yous would say
A lot of American reactors have reacted on this video and had no problems.
Copyright claim and no ads due to content identified as not suitable for most advertisers. Sucks but I'll live.
( the Broo ) being unemployed being on benefits on the Broo .Irish immigration people coming over from Ireland on the ferry to Scotland looking for work .(holding a rock concert for the people of Kirkcaldy to feed them .a reversal of Live Aid rock concert to raise money for charity in Africa the largest charity concert ever held
I can't understand a word your say
I told you he was savage! 😂Yes... on the brew is drinking. Belfast is in Northern Ireland which has had lots of trouble between the Catholic and Protestant communities... riots, bombings and murders. Long story. There's a big Irish expat community in Glasgow so the religious sectarianism has spread there too, but not on the same scale. The 2 major football (soccer) teams in Glasgow are Celtic and Rangers. If you're Catholic you support Celtic, if you're Protestant you support Rangers. It used to be the same for the players as well. When they play each other it used to be like a mini-war, but it's not quite as bad these days.
On the brew means getting benefits try again though
On the brew is on welfare
Drinking? Not even close!! It means being on the dole/collecting benefits because of unemployment
@@bigfatrez It means drinking in my part of the country. Why would he have come to Glasgow just to collect the dole?
@@eccehomer8182 the guy says he was on the "buroo", glasgow and Belfast have very close links so a lot of the colloquialisms are well known. So yes, the guy was unemployed and on benefits. Hence why Frankie said he'd give him a job
On the ‘brew’ is another way of saying he’s out on the beer.
It’s on the broo- it means signing on/unemployed/welfare/benefits
No, it defo is not!
FB asks him: "What d'you do?", which I think we can all agree means: "What is your job/occupation?"
The guy replies: "I'm on the buroo", i.e "I'm unemployed and claiming government welfare payments/dole."
on the brew isnt welfare it means drinking out drinkingi understand on the buroo is unemployment but it isnt in context for the statement considering hees over there at a show and DRINKING CONTEXT people
it clearly means hes on the dole especially when frankie says to him what do you do? he replies on the brew and that makes him unpopular in the hall, if he was referring to being on the piss am sure it wouldnt have made him so unpopular as every1 there probably on the piss aswell
😉
@@pureskint I would beg to differ
Context, my arse!
FB asks him: "What d'you do?" = "What is your job?"
There's your fucking context 🙄
I can guarantee you every single person in that hall, including FB and the Belfast lad, understood (correctly) the exchange to be about unemployment payments/welfare/dole.
Stop sassenachsplaining!(and I speak as a scouser 😜)
🤣🤌🏻💦🤡
“What do you do for work” “on the brew” CONTEXT people
On the brew means, being paid by the government for doing nothing. Lol
