Labour wins Blackpool South by-election from the Conservatives

- Labour has won the Blackpool South by-election from the Conservatives in another blow for Rishi Sunak's leadership.
The party's candidate Chris Webb received 10,825 votes - a 58.9% vote share - with the Tories trailing far behind with just 3,218.

Agreed but we will watching who is doing what even more this time round, I.E who is dipping there snout into the graveytrain and how much for, and the corruption, and the lies,, e.t.c...I can only hope whoever gets in power next are aware how the electorate / public feel after 14 years of con / tory party rule / if they go the same way as the torys, they won't get 14 years this time around, they're asses will be in a sling much quicker that 14 years...they cannot afford to make peoples harder and that goes for everybody...

One area don’t make an outright win 32% of the voters where were the rest of the voters.
Lowest turn out in that ward history with a continued decline in labour votes since the ward was created. I guess a win is a win though 😂

What is the percentage of vote ? How many people voted at last election and how many people voted this time and what was the percentage of those who are eligible to vote but did not vote ? Is it just a low turnout protest vote?

I've had enough of politicians in general and I wouldn't vote for either parties. Infact I'm not voting this time at all. Nothing that appeals to me is on display. Even the new smaller parties are a joke, whether it's obsessing about the woke asif its the only issue or pro Jehadi wackoes. No thanks.

Where can I see the returning officer read the Conservative candidate showing. Yes Labour, Greens,Reform and Liberal Democrats but no Conservative. Do their thinks it will change things, we are not Dumb Americans.
