Hi i did mountings from toyota oem mountings with volkswagen mount car end welded on them. Also used 4e-fe gearbox, drivesafts, and toyota corolla hubs and lower control arms they were allmost direct fit on mk1 caddy. I had to make shorter drivesafts on this application but i dont think that is problem with you mk4.

starlet boy it has stock ecu but i did get rid of all un necessery parts of the wiring loom so it did basicly have just only spark related components. Also this engine has fuel cut rev limiter so carburetors will get rid of that.
By any chane whats the hp and torque?
Never got this dynoed. The engine sits nowdays in my ford anglia with slightly different setup. You can see it at my ig @aakk1

Nice project how did you get the 4e to rev to 7500 rpm, ecu ???

Hello sir, what is the idle speed at full stop?
idle speed is 900-1100 rpm depending how hot engine is. I got this engine in another car now with few new mods tho.
