  • It's a tactic of war. You take something out of context, you blow it up to be totally outrageous, you provoke outrage and indignation, and you use it as a weapon. Why?

This has been such a theme in my life. I have had so much practice. This is a symptom of unconsciousness, or also symptomatic of a conscious malevolence. People either know they're doing it, or don't know they're doing it. I can spot this a mile away now. If someone isn't paying attention to my very clear and concise communication, and I see it, they're out. Like mom, who is an absolute lunatic who I went no contact with.

Just met some hi energy folks at the market who were challenging the cashier about the distancing law and that they were too close to me. I started chatting with them and we were friends on the way out! NIce to face my own fear and connect. A chance to practice.

Beautiful! - "Anyone who calls themselves a peace activist begin walking and speaking peace themselves in everything they do".

This man keeps me sane and from going into complete despair over and over again. Its just such a relief to know that he exists and is speaking about so many things which need to be said in the peace and justice movement and beyond.Thank you Charles, please keep having faith in what you are doing and the role you are playing in helping those of us who believe in peace and a more beautiful world to not get sidelined with irrelevant and petty battles which serve no one, least of all towards a more peaceful world

Thank you Charles for writing The Coronation essay. It completely blew my mind and helped pull me out of fear and into love, critical thinking and actually seeing the forest from the trees. Thank you so much. I hope you record an audio version of that essay as many of my friends don't have the attention span unfortunately but I know they will listen to it.

I came from a violent family. My life has been spent changing this. I weep in remembrance of how my brother called me a snob for choosing those who choose peace. I weep at how I still participate in othering and distrust based on the past.

It’s just like when you paint a picture of someone or edit a video clip just to make it seem like this person said this and things get outrageous you’re accusing them over something that’s not even their character

I want more of this discussion. I want to find ways of transforming that "spiral of erosion". Ways beyond personal, individual work. I'm sure there are social technologies that would help with this.

I want to translate your contents to Portuguese so I could share with my communities, I already sent you a message in your website, but didn’t get an answer. Could u tell me if there’s a possibility to do that? I’d love to serve doing this and also would love learning more about the issues you bring. They really contribute in significant things in my life. Big hug

What about a spouse who takes the conversation out of context.

Hey Charles do you think you could do a video about permaculture and the 12 principles and how syntropy works. To also educate people the solutions through community.
I see this word as multi being.
When I use the word community I mean interconnected humans, microbes, plants, insects and animals.
I feel with covid 19 the best thing is to get the world permaculture and syntropy and syntropic farming. Out into the public as these are frameworks for the new story.

the reason islamaphobia exists. ISIS do not represent us and infact contradict Islam, Muhammad s.a.w. having four wives was not sexist, the verses in our Qur'aan talking about killing only apply to war and not daily life.

You do the exact same thing to Capitalism. Some of my friends are fans of your work and share your videos, so I had to watch a few, and it's unbelievable how you mis-characterize the economic system. Since I myself was part of the Zeitgeist movement and had Socialist / Leftist views back then, very similar to you now, I understand why you say the things you say, and seriously doubt you have any bad intentions. But I honestly suggest that you re-think your beliefs and perhaps look at some different sources.
