    I know that if you're coming here to watch this video and my other tribute video you must care or respect Kobe Bryant in some way. I was shocked and deeply hurt when I found out he had died and especially the manner in which he died. I know there are a lot of people who are going to come to this video and comment and express their grief and some measure of respect to the Mamba. I welcome this and support it, but I am discouraging and removing the comments that are asking for likes. For example, "Like this if you're here after Kobe died!." I feel that is an insult to his memory and that of his daughter who passed with him. Don't promote yourself, just appreciate the video and the fact that you were lucky enough to see him play, remember the joy he brought you, and use it as inspiration and motivation to be better and succeed at what you do, like he would have wanted from his fans and admirers.

    MJ is the GOAT, Lebron is magnificent, Steph is awe-inspiring, but as far as I'm concerned, Kobe is Legendary. Torn rotator cuff? No problem. Busted achilles? back in top form in a year. 20 years in the league. 5 rings. God knows how many other achievements from MVP trophies to Olympic medals. All straight out of high school. There will never be another like the Mamba. Always classy and always entertaining.

    By definition, Kobe was the most spectacular player that ever lived in my eyes. I’ve never seen another player who caught your eye the same way. Definitely the best. Lebron will never be better than him, when Kobe was hurt he didn't play 1 year and after that he wasn't so good and it his stats were going down after his injury. It means if he wasn't hurt, he would have much, much more points in his career and his statistics would be better than this. For me Michael Jordan and Lebron James are fantastic of all time, but Kobe is icone of the basketball for me, definitely the best player ever. He was great in everything, ok Lebron is better than blocks, but for me Kobe is much better in defence, Lebron is maybe better in 3 points but honestly I don't know because a say again Kobe's injury changed his career totally and for me also hi is better dunker than Lebron and Jordan both.

    Kobe is the embodiment of what hard work, perseverance, discipline, grit and determination means.
    A lump always builds up in my throat now every time I see Kobe videos because it keeps reminding me what can be achieve in life if one adopts those same core values.
    His death immortalized his Mamba Mentality Philosophy and he truly is a testament to that philosophy.
    Mamba mentality means “just trying to get better every day.” It's the “simplest form of just trying to get better at whatever you're doing.”
    Cheers.

    People who say kobe had a bad fg percentage (45%) just by looking at the numbers, dont watch the games. 45% turns into a damn good percentage when 90% of your points come off of contested shots with two or three guys on u, u have to remember, Kobes an iso scorer, no screens no nice cut play drawn up, its just move out the way 1 on 1 or post up, when playing 1 on 1 theres always a contest, unless u blow by ur man, so he scores with 1 or 2 guys in his face if the help comes, and still comes up with 45%, niggas be strait hatin man.

    Kobe could create his own shot n make shots like no one in NBA history, including Jordan. Footwork was maybe best EVER. Jordan was better in the post of course, he could finish around the rim like he was GOD but Kobe could create and make shots from mid range and the outside like he was GOD, like NO OTHER. PRIME KOBE was KraZY, he was best in NBA history at shooting over players, especially from the triple threat position(before he dribbles) he could just rise up over players and splash it, AWESOME. Love to see him just rise up and hit the 3, NASTY.

You don't practice that shit that's all instinct and natural reaction to the defense, that's after hours, days and years of practice to be able to react to defense like that naturally.

    Kobe played with bad players teammates,like Chris Mims, Luke Walton, Muschi Parker, Jordan Farmer, Sasha Vudacec, etc. and won 5 rings, imagine how many more if he had played with the teammates Jordan played, He was selfish sometimes because he didnt had any relyable player to pass the ball, also Kobe had the most difficult shots made and the distance, never Jordan attempted those long distance shots. One on One Kobe would destroy Jordan.

    • @jamessalomon1196
      @jamessalomon1196 7 років тому +11

      I respect your opinion but you're obviously not old enough to have watched MJ in his prime.
      I watched MJ and Kobe play their entire careers. MJ was slightly stronger and definitely more athletic and took more efficient shots. I'd say Kobe would make some crazy long range perimeter shots on MJ, but in the end MJ would win just because his field goal percentage would be higher (especially midrange and in the post) and because Jordan is a much, much better individual defender compared to Kobe. Jordan is the greatest defensive guard in NBA history, with Gary Payton second.
      MJ is the BEST midrange jumpshooter ever, better than Kobe or Jerry West. Nobody created more space on his fadeaway than Jordan. MJ was the greatest post-up guard ever as well. And Jordan was better at finishing after contact when driving the lane. It would be an incredibly close, competitive game regardless.
      But I'd bet my life that MJ wins that game. He's just too consistent of a shooter and too good of a defender to let Kobe get into a great rhythm. I have complete respect for Kobe though...he's literally the only person on earth who has studied MJ more than I have. But even he knows now that MJ at his peak was better than he was. MJ with the Wizards at age 38-40 was superior to Kobe from age 35-37. Make them both 27, 28 years old, and that would be a great one-on-one game...MJ at that age shot nearly 55% from the field, mostly on jump shots. Kobe never shot 50% from the field for a season, even with Shaq there. That's the difference.

    • @datassdoe8596
      @datassdoe8596 7 років тому

      Legit Jordan took like 9 threes and made 8 in one game just to silence his critics about his far range shots. Also in Jordan's era no one valued three pointers so he never took them or practiced. Kobe would get whooped

    • @PeterJustGames
      @PeterJustGames 7 років тому +5

      Kobe carried that shitty 05-06 team to the playoffs with 45 wins while averaging 35 points (the most in recent times), 5 rebounds and 4.5 assists and no MVP? How can you argue that Steve Nash was more valuable when Kobe was putting up those kind of numbers?? He also had 27 40+ point games that year. I mean, come on...

  • @MusicLuv80
    @MusicLuv80 4 роки тому +3

    He is so good and he made the most difficult shots but because of the same reason he is not getting the credit he deserves by the critics. He put himself in those situations which translates to not being efficient. But he is great.
