Thank you for saving these lives. I love rewatching them while I knit (and am determined to join live when my 4 year old son gives me the opportunity 😅). It feels like chatting with a friend and I love listening to your stories ❤. I was drinking lavender tea (just dried lavender in hot water). Love Jessica
Hello Martina, About your garden. Read your book Mirrors in the earth, page 35-38.😊 Give your garden five years! I bought the book because of you, by the way. Keep living the fantastic life you live. Thanks for inspiring me. From Benedikte
I love my chickens. They are part of the family. I take care of and protect them and they give me yummy eggs. Sometimes the girls will eat some of the eggs, and that's fine. 7 hens give me 5-7 eggs each day. I can't possibly eat that many, so I take the excess to the local food bank. My girls follow me around like I'm the Pied Piper. I suspect it has to do with me being the source of all the kitchen yummies that come their way rather than any particular affection for me, but I'm happy to pretend otherwise. :D
I never seem to make your livestreams Martina 🤦🏼♀️. The gardening mantra is: "do a little, and do it often". As with life itself, there are many joys and many disappointments. My philosophy is that I let the garden express itself - I let things seed themselves, and get some lovely surprises when things pop up that I've never planted. I do move things around and remove the odd weed if I don't like it, but for me it's about finding a balance I can live with. It's definitely my locus amoenus. ❤
I find it so interesting to hear from somebody that has overcome that battle between omnivores and vegans. I never took that battle on myself but I watched it from outside and always found it quite sad and unnecessary. I totally agree that we are nature too. Actually I find that part of humans most interesting at the moment because I see it as the most denied part at this point of time. Interestingly it is the same time we talk so much about preserving nature and environment protection. I have the suspicion that we tend to protect on the outside what we denied ourselves on the inside, that natural part of us that is somewhere buried.
I am an artist, and I love drawing the human face, and there’s nothing more natural than the curves, depth and shadows of a human face. We are definitely part of nature.
