I love Krissy dolls, the one with the stroller was one of my favourite ever Christmas gifts, I wish they kept this style of Barbie babies they're so cute.💜
Great video. Beautiful dolls. Did Chrissy and Friends babies you showed in this video are my favorite Chrissy dolls. Pool fun Kelly is one of my favorite Kelly dolls.
I love seeing your organization process. I've been meaning to do this with my own collection. I've started My own version of a catalog on Google sheets, but it's a lot more simplistic. I'm sorry if you've already answered this question before, but I'm just curious if there are any dolls that you do not collect?
Thank you :) My original inventories were very simple too--whatever works for your collection. I'm pretty open minded to most dolls...there really aren't many that I wouldn't keep if I got them in a used lot :)
Hi, I have my childhood Ariel pearl princess by Mattel 1997. I’m trying to piece together her outfits again and revamp her but her hair is kind of fraying at the ends and on the back of the neck. Do you have any tips to make the hair smoother and even a bit shiny again?
@@AThousandSplendidDolls I did wash the doll and the hair with cold and warm water (I think warm first) also used conditioner. She lost some strands in the process but still has long and pretty full hair, but the fraying might have gotten worse. I’m also a bit scared and don’t want to ruin it because it holds so much sentimental value… Should I wash the hair one more time or leave it as is ?
Pomade is a wax, so it doesn't work well on plastic--that could be why it made her hair worse. I'd recommend washing it out. You should try a boil wash--I have a tutorial on my channel: ua-cam.com/video/EhzRb9rIMs0/v-deo.html I have quite a few of those Mattel Ariel dolls from the 90s, and that's how I fixed them up. They usually need to soak in the boiling water for several minutes, with a lot of combing during the process. The quality of their hair is finicky :)
So I almost ruined her after all, thank you I’ll follow the instructions in your video. It is kind of finicky but they are so beautiful!! Also I just fixed a chip in the neck of my pretty in plaid Barbie following your broken neck video so thank you for that as well! Have a wonderful day 🩷
@@AThousandSplendidDolls Ohhh...I didn't know that. It's cool that someone gave you those dolls. It's like the person knew you'd give them a happy home.🩷💅
So with that Barbie masquerade ball dress that you're fixing up. I have a few clothes for Barbie that is frayed and never tried this technique. I would be scared if I would catch anything on fire. You probably don't do it as close to the flame but just on the edges
Every once in a while if you get a little too close to the flame, it might catch fire. But it doesn't light up crazily or anything. There is just a quick flame, and then it goes out. That's why I always do the technique without flammable stuff around, and I use a small candle. I've done this method to probably a hundred or so items over the years without any major incidents. The worst thing that happens is that the fabric will look a little scorched in the area :)
so awesome that you got so many pieces that belong to dolls you already had and vise versa, such a satisfying feeling. I rarely get to experience it because in my country doll clothes are a lot harder to find second hand than they are in America, but when i do find missing pieces to some of my dolls it feels so magical. (Tho i do think glitz n glam barbie looked fabulous with the fashion pack you originally dressed her in LOL) Sara is gorgeous! I agree she's a lot prettier than your other glam party barbie, her eyes look a lot sweeter :3
Thank you! It really is so satisfying reuniting a doll with her fashion. It's a shame you have a harder time finding doll clothes. Honestly most of the dolls around here don't have extras with them.
Its amazing how detailed and organized you are! You inspire me.
Aw, thank you!
They all turned out so good! It's so nice to watch you repair things and make the dolls beautiful again, I'm glad they get a second chance
Aw, thank you!
You've saved so many dolls from eventually going to the dump. Not necessarily here but I mean throughout the years.
Thank you! There is nothing like rescuing a dolly in need :)
Love the new dolls you got and also that beautiful white dress. I love it princess and the Pupper dolls
That's awesome :)
aw, i wish i could have a lot of vintage dolls like u❤❤❤
I've been collecting for 25 years, so it can take a while to have that many :)
Restauring dolls is so cool, I love it. I really enjoyed the video❤
Thank you so much!
Really good video 📸 I love your Dolls ❤
Thank you so much!
They look much better now!
Thank you!

I wish they kept the Krissy style of babies too! They were so adorable and had really cute clothes :)
The cutie reveal dolls are so nice! I like them (just not the price) 😂 so I'm always happy to find them thrifting 😊
They are really expensive for some reason, even on sale they are still pricey!
Great video. Beautiful dolls. Did Chrissy and Friends babies you showed in this video are my favorite Chrissy dolls. Pool fun Kelly is one of my favorite Kelly dolls.
Thank you! They are definitely some of the best :) The Pool Fun line had some super cute dolls and outfits.
Your welcome. Yes they are.
It is great that they ended up in your hands, now they look like new 😊
Thank you so much!
Great video 🎉

Have you tried boil washing it?

Forgot to mention after I washed the hair I put a tiny bit of hair pomade to secure strays and hair fringe, could that be the reason it got worse ?

You're so lucky!😭 You get to find cool dolls at the flea market, all I ever find at our flea market are dolls that either have no head or body.
These weren't from the flea market--someone generously gave the box of dolls to me :) My flea market isn't open in February.

I mentioned it at the start of the video quickly :) Yes, I'm pretty sure some of the dolls she specially picked out for us!

Can you help me identify a barbie please can't find her anywhere lol 😆
I can see if I can identify her. Just send a picture of her to my dolly email listed in the video description :)
@AThousandSplendidDolls OK thank you so much x
Love your restoration videos you inspired me to start fixing up used dollies🧽 love your channel and message behind it 💖
