Nese Time The doll hair needs to be sprayed with water before you heat it . Any temperature will melt the hair. The water prevents melting but just in case try not to leave the hair touching the heat for more than 1 second. Heat the pieces of hair very quickly. Also when you pass the wet hair through the iron, steam will rise .

I've seen people use boiling water and it worked too, but some hair just can't take heat
