Did you guys do all your fishing from shore?I used to fish the reservoir ,caught loads of pike.Have not been back there in a long time.where are you guys from?
This trip had to from shore due to no boat. Lottta pike in there! I’m from central maine
@@BackWoodsAngling102 I have fished Lake Mistassini and Lake Albanel ,we caught some huge pike from those lakes.The James Bay area is a fantastic area.
@@johnropeleski6006 I’ve fished mistassini before it was incredible, you’re not wrong! Albanel is huge on the bucket list.
@@BackWoodsAngling102 there are a ton of great lakes in Quebec for monster pike.I also fish a lot north of Mont Laurier.lot of good fly in spots.Have you ever fished the la Verendrye reserve,great pike fishing.
@@johnropeleski6006 honestly never even heard of it I’ll have to look into there. This past summer I did some absolutely incredible pike fishing out to lake nipigon though, got one easily topping 35lbs it was beyond insane.
