  • What is a good thread and why doe it matter for rifles. It also explains why so little torque is needed to put a barrel on vs when it is taken off.

    What are your thoughts on the PM1236 lathe you have and would you recommend it?

      I love it and am actually going to buy another one soon. I will be getting the Taiwan maid on this time.

    How do you no how tight to put a mosin nagant barrel on. Just tighten untill it wont turn anymore? Or are there a amount of pounds of torque? Im just wondering because i have a m39 barrel i want to put on a 91/30 receiver i have i bought the wrench and barrel vice i needed for a hex receiver, but when i got it, it didnt have directions with it. And there isnt any videos on youtube about it. Was hoping you could help? Thanks and great videos :)

      If its threaded as ruff as most Russian barrels i would use 80-100lbs.
