@@Electra_ascending Me? You're the one talking about Nagash as if he were your husband, hahaha ridiculous. And on top of that, you speak ill of an exceptional singer that you probably don't even know
All Kovenant albums has been masterpieces in a Black Metal. Wish we would see a new album one day... Kovenant is and has been one of my favorite bands of all time.
What an excellent piece of music history this is. I went to see Covenant live in 1998 in Wacken myself and I still have photos of that gig. If anyone is interested in getting translations, just reply with the time stamp and I’ll translate the Norwegian parts into English. Cheers for uploading this!
Hi! I saw your comment and was wondering if you could possibly help me? I need an English translation of something Lexi said in another video. I have yet to learn Norwegian as I'm trapped in Britain lol.
There were so many young gifted metal musicians at that time. There are tons of masterpieces from that era, Nexus Polaris from Covenant, Blacken the Angel from Agathodaimon, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant from Dimmu, Tales from Eternal Dusk from Dark Fortress, Le Masquerade Infernale from Arcturus, Dissection's Storm of the Light's Bane and these are just the bm bands. Then there was Nightfall in Middle Earth from Blind Guardian, XIII from Rage, the debut of Andi Deris in Helloween, Nightime Birds from the Gathering, Sins of Thy Beloved etc..... I loved the '90s. Truth to be told I was also a teenager back then.
Dismal Euphany, Tristania, Empyruim, Paragon of beauty, Kvist, Strid, Setherial, Drawn, Green Carnation, Naglefar ( Germany) Decorayh, The Gathering, Beherit and many more. Ps. I was also a teen with long hair back then. Now I’m bald 😢
One of the less-talked-about masterpieces. The Norwegian metal scene was really going bananas at this time. NP, Thorns, Dimmu at its peak, Immortal at its peak etc etc. You guys must really have motivated each other in this era.
Nexus Polaris is a masterpiece, my all time favorite, and the best symphonic black metal album ever. It was awesome to see this piece of music history.
Highly embarrassing Jamie! We were all very young, 21 Ish? Just reading through the comments, apart from one weird one, thank you people for the lovely words, but this does make me cringe so so much..... Much love guys, from the one who DID sing the songs ;) (Well the female vocals anyway)
Muito obrigada Astenu, sinto muitas saudades do The KOVENANT.... Vocês eram Deuses.. É uma pena que o NAGASH ficou doente e teve que tomar milhares de COMPRIMIDOS... este documentário em HD é uma grande raridade .... por favor poste mais material pra nós.. Check OUT minha playlist de VOCÊS e do Dimmu borgir...obrigado Sandra Brasil🎉
Comment: This band can do what many Latin singers do in Latin America, they live off their music catalog. They can tour Latin America for many years especially Mexico and they can make good money on the Palenque music circuit along with doing stadiums in Mexico. Latin America is a different world in terms of fans and music. Lex Icon needs to understand this. June 10, 2024. USA

I've never noticed before there's young Alexi right next to Astennu on 22:23 and again on 26:23
Fixing his hair, as always :) :) :)

Poor non-norwegian speakers. Even after all this time, they still don't get subtitles.
Kjære vene.
made documentaries but couldnt make aria galactica. Just teased and teased. I think they are awesome but dk move to screw over their fan base.
BACK WHEN METAL WAS STILL RELEVANT🤔
English subs would😊 be nice
Too bad Aria Galactica is never comming out..
This was one of the biggest mistakes in History of BM… started from music and ending on their outfit.
Frontpage Stadiumrock BM. Not the real stuff. Though quite interesting in a historical way.
Better listen to Darkthrone, Marduk or Mork.
Nagash looks like Ralph Cifaretto. Lollol
