I’ve watched so many videos trying to understand this and this is the only one that’s made sense! I think your epilepsy example really brought it together, honestly. Such a simple comment, but the real world context of what this actually looks like (and WHY hyper-polarization happens) really brought it home.
I wish I would have found this sooner... I have spent TWO days hearing and seeing this explained in so many different ways that all it did was CONFUSE. This cleared things up without me curling up into a ball in the corner...
