Ben is totally right. Papyrus is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant, Cyperus papyrus, a wetland sedge. Papyrus can also refer to a document written on sheets of such material... And I think it is pronounce the same way in Spanish, English, French, Italian
Ben is right about the paper but was clearly wrong about the case on the first attempt😂 so sick to see someone get the hip clean and the nine iron looks epic
😂😂😂 Ben is right papyrus was that paper made of woven leaves, but it killed me when he said, "you just wait!" And matt replies, " Wait for what?... 3000 years ago?" Hahahahahahahah
I love how jamie just doesnt fuck around.. ben tries to play the funny handshake game and he just grabs that shit! :) Loving all of it... I can't wait to see what's next and hopefully this summer we get a huge jam video with a bunch of guests
Maybe he was a sexual sadist serial killer in another life.. couldn't get it up so he tortured and mutilated his victims.. now he's obsessed with getting everything hard... Maybe he's jack the ripper reincarnated.... I know I take shit too far, it's just who I am as a person...
Another great video - I still laugh with all your amazing riding and tricks Matt (The Playground, Skatepark the South Africa, Thailand ect) you still mess up the FAKIE😂😂😂😂 Keep up the good work you 3 together make great content 👍
a material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats. It's what burned at the ancient library in Alexandria Egypt. After that came the Era of clay tablets. Cheers from Northern California!!! "the text was preserved, probably on papyrus"
I've always thought, since you guys so often go from the end of main line back up the landing of 9 iron to drop towards the quarter, you might as well make a path so you don't have to ride on grass for that wee bit, just to tidy it up, make the riding experience a bit more smooth (Mayyybe even a lil jump or feature from the sorta wall ride where main line technically ends for now) Also, maybe carve a step-up sort of out of the hill before the lavada so you can pump up it better, like a more official pumpable step-up, so that it's easier without pedals

Papyrus (P. BM EA 10591 recto column IX, beginning of lines 13-17) Papyrus (/pəˈpaɪrəs/ pə-PY-rəs) is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant, Cyperus papyrus, a wetland sedge.[1] Papyrus (plural: papyri or papyruses[2]) can also refer to a document written on sheets of such material, joined side by side and rolled up into a scroll, an early form of a book.
Yeah so, that 9-iron is now absolutely perfect. very satisfying to watch. I got triggered last time seeing it flatter but no its mint. That first hip however needs a remodel like the 9 iron.
Papyrus was the first kind of paper, made from the papyrus plant. It allowed the Egyptians to write down their hyroglyphs and filled the libraby of Alexandria with them. Ben was completely right, even with one of his pronunciations
Hi Matt you need to get a 50mm gal pipe weld reo bar for concrete about 300mm long at right to the pipe and bang it in to the top of the quarter pipe as a coping.
With all that speed coming off the big hip, could you maybe build another big takeoff and use the quarter pipe as the landing?if you made it wide enough you could hip a little to both ways and have a split option.left takes you to some new trail, and right launches you into the quarter pipe.that way you could re use the small hip the opposite side of the quarter, and turn it into more of a pipe,or just have a huge step up back out after landing into the quarter. Might take some creative planning, but would open up some huge sick transfer lines!
Papyrus, from which we get the modern word paper, is a writing material made from the papyrus plant, a reed which grows in the marshy areas around the Nile river. Papyrus was used as a writing material as early as 3,000 BC in ancient Egypt, and continued to be used to some extent until around 1100 AD You're welcome
Ben is 100% right.

ben is absolutely correct on the existence of papyrus. It is a parchment made of a reed that grows in the marshy areas of the nile
Came for the comments. Not disappointed 😂 another great upload from the team

It’s Paper Dude. 😀🤙🏻
papyrus was an egyptian parchment made from Nile reeds. It's also where the word paper stems from.
Pa-py-rus
a material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats.
"the text was preserved, probably on papyrus"
Yes Ben. Papyrus was the first recorded form of paper. Made from dried pressed, cross layered (plaid) reeds.
Papyrus (P. BM EA 10591 recto column IX, beginning of lines 13-17)
Papyrus (/pəˈpaɪrəs/ pə-PY-rəs) is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. Ben talking straight facts - I swear most of primary school was all about Papyrus
😂 great episode you guys!
I see Jamie is now carrying Sam Reynolds’s channel as well. The man is a beast
According to Ben's measuring of that landing....7ft, he must think he is 15 ft tall!!!
hahahaha
I thought that hahahahah
They call him "ole Wide Foot" and "Blockfoot Ben"...
Didnt you know? Lmao😂😂😂
Hi Matt you need to get a 50mm gal pipe weld reo bar for concrete about 300mm long at right to the pipe and bang it in to the top of the quarter pipe as a coping.
Jamie constantly getting ribbed for pedalling made my day😂
Love the playground content
Continuation of the playground feels exciting
Papyrus is was the paper composition that the Egyptians used, Ben has got it.
Ben spitting facts about Papyrus
The 7ft top on the hip landing is huge 🤣🤣🤣 And we learnt about papyrus in primary school

First ever paper to be created !
Air out the quarter to the step up landing 👌🏼
Watching Jaime fail a couple bar spins then randomly huck a flip made me lose my gd mind. I was so hype
It is like coming home to see you three back running around The Playground!!! The only thing missing was a buildlapse…

😈😈😈 time to plant in the vegi patch on outskirts 😈😈😈
I knew exactly what Ben was on about and he did hit the English pronunciation at one point 😂
Papyrus, from which we get the modern word paper, is a writing material made from the papyrus plant, a reed which grows in the marshy areas around the Nile river. Papyrus was used as a writing material as early as 3,000 BC in ancient Egypt, and continued to be used to some extent until around 1100 AD
You're welcome
Papyrus is indeed an Egyptian paper that's made of woven strips of reed (sort of rivergrass) that grows at the banks of the Nile
You need to bring the sheep from the farm to trim the grass while you aren’t at the compound!
Love you Matt ❤🎉🎉🎉
ben casually missing every fist bump he's offered
Ben is bang on when it comes to papyrus
The Paper of ancient egypt...Papyrus, now send me a jersey.
U guys roasting one another is great😂
