Enable Closed Captions for more detail (the "CC" button at the bottom right of the video on desktop or in this video's settings menu on mobile). Screen marker, highlighted demon butler, expand inner zoom limit, and xp tracker are all features of the Runelite client. I am not certain if this method is possible without the expand inner zoom limit feature.

For those viewing in 2020, To make this even easier... place a small weight one the 1 key so it is held down on it own. You will turn this into a method in which you only have to right click and left click.

This still works in 2024. If you're having trouble with getting your camera positioned correctly, ensure your RuneLite client is the minimum possible height while also being fairly wide.

Great guide man. Unfortunately, I've been getting 390-400k hourly rate after stopping every 30 minutes or so. This is due to some mistakes at times.
Btw, does 150k coins to the Butler for 145k con xp sound right?
yes it's around 1gp per xp with the demon butler
Correct, the Demon Butler adds roughly 1gp per xp to the total cost. If you were to do this method from 74 to 99, you would spend nearly 12.5m on the Demon Butler, or half as much on a regular Butler.

Ok I need help. Sometimes the demon butler spawns on the other side of the door or to the left of me at an angle causing me to walk out from behind the door to click on him. How do I keep the demon butler right next to me every time he spawns
You need to have a door built before he comes back from the bank, otherwise he has the chance of spawning anywhere in the room
Hi, I know its a year old video...but its still relevant as ever, maybe you will reply. I m trying to mimic everything exactly as you did in the video, but my camera simply doesnt zoom in enough. Without runelite plugin its 896 zoom, when you check the zoom in plugin on runelite it extends it to like 1096, but I cant zoom in into thst 1096, all I m getting is 896/1096 and the bar still shows "max", help please?
I reached 99 construction shortly after this video was recorded and have not touched the skill since. So if anything software related has changed with Runelite/OSRS to cause this to no longer work as shown, I am of little help. My apologies and I hope you find/found a solution.

Idk if it’s my ping, but I can’t build 2 doors fast enough between demon butler cycles. I use this method with a regular butler, but my construction just feels slow.
Yes, exactly this, for some reason the demon butler is too fast but the normal butler is too slow...
When I do it.. My char keeps moving to the opposite side of the door to build.. Any tips??
Make sure you click on the left side of the door, look at the vid his mouse is on the south door not the north
How did you ask bulter to repeat the task?, once i click on the bulter, i must move the mouse to talk to bulter to repeat the task. After the "mistress, i have returned..." dialogue came, i click on the bulter it shows choose options instead of directly asking him to repeat the task again.. What mouse button did you use?
I'm only holding the "1" button down on the keyboard. It's important that you're using the noted planks on the butler and having him bring back 20. I don't know if this method works if you're asking him to go get planks from the bank instead of un-noting them.

Current prices at the time of recording:
Oak plank: 425
Mahogany plank: 2050
74-99 Training:
Oak Doors: Costs ~84M over 24 hours at 500k xp/hr (as demonstrated)
Mahogany Tables: Costs ~174M over 13 hours at 900k xp/hr (according to Crystal Math Labs rates)
It's up to you to decide whether saving 11 hours is worth paying ~90M more (~8.2M per hour saved). For most players, it simply isn't.
How can you just hold the number 1 key? It only counts as one input on my game, and i have to keep pressing 1.

If you can press and hold "1" for a few seconds and get "1111111111111111" anywhere else on your PC, then I don't know what the issue could be. But if it only types a single "1" after you've held the key down for several seconds, then you might have "Filter keys" enabled in your Widows settings. Just turn Filter keys off and it should work fine after that ( video guide: ua-cam.com/video/vXowkLBeXK4/v-deo.html ).
Zenata works for me in runelite, not in OSbuddy, playing in mac
also able to put a paperweight on 1 key and bandaid/tape over mouse optics for 0 chance of lost place/time
It still works for me. But I seems to not even getting close to 500k xp/h
I think my max is like 430k xp/h. It feels like I'm doing everything right. I'm almost always quicker done than my butler.
This is how I do it:
With a door in place>
Click butler, send him to the bank for 20 oaks>
Remove door>
Build door>
Remove door>
Build door>
Butler comes back>
Repeat.
I feel like I click all the options in the first tick possible. How can my rates be off that much?
If I'm always done quicker than my butler, I can't really improve by click quicker right?
Butler or demon butler? Normal butler takes longer to bank so thats where you lose out
i have the butler spawning in strange places sometimes ( for example in the wall ) but other times he spawns in the right place, i make the doors before he comes back anyone knows what this is?
How is it letting you build without manually clicking on the door type you wish to build?

I dunno if Jagex did a update for this or im just a noob for asking but how the heck do you have the mouse place on the build and remove option already? when I right click my mouse is always hovering at the select option label and i have to do mouse down everytime causing me to make alot of mistakes due to the second option for force pick lock remove etc.
I'm confident it still works, but I haven't tested it recently.
Make sure you're using the Runelite client and have expand inner zoom limit enabled. Doing so should allow you to zoom in far enough so the Butler is always spawning in a way that overlaps with the build/remove options.
@@ZenataUSA yea I'm using runelite, the problem isnt so much the burtler but more with the mouse pointer location as I have to click down to build and remove each time. I have seen other guides before and each guide shows the mouse already hovering at the build and remove .

@@joelcolwell7206 Hey Joey Sadly no, I had to train for like 8 hours to get my level, I am convince Jagex did an update to nerf this slightly as I saw a more reccent 2019 guide and the guy had to hover down to do the functions the same way, my best advice training on oak doors is to stand outside where the skeleton is located and do it so you wont make much mistakes clicking the other Door, i believe with perfect clicks and timing with the burtler you can manage around 400k a hour but realistically its more like 280-320k now as that's what i was averaging with reunite

Doing it exactly how you are and getting 170k xp an hr.....
You must not be doing 2 builds between Demon butler runs or you may be missing too many ticks. The math makes it impossible to get anything less than 400-450k/hr if you're actually doing everything correctly and at a decent pace.
To trap the butler you have to finish the build before be spawns so he spawns in the confined space with you
U could at least explain how set everything up ugh..
