    I was struggling to take old axel out and this video showed that the sprocket has to come off. Saved me big headaches brother Thanks for easy step by step process of your video..

    This is a great video by the way. Before i watched it i tought the bearings went inside the hub. But now i know the cone was destroyed and push them in. I will sub.

    thank you so much for this, I am currently renovating an old 90's bike I got for dirt cheap. Replacing the free wheel hub and axle was part of it and this saved me so much time!

    Never use a torque wrench as a breaker bar you will damage the torque ratings of the wrench.

    How do I find out the length of my rear axle on my 21 speed mongoose XR-75 mountain bike if the rear axle broke into two pieces?

    Use a ratchet handle or breaker bar or you will goose your torque wrench 👍

    Hint, never use a torque wrench as a breaker bar if you wish it to stay accurate when torque bolts to proper specs.

      Usually it's 14 or 15, but it can be 13 or 16 too

    i admire the work but replacing the sprocket is as far as i go. once the bearing breaks just buy a new wheel.. $20

    Kids, never ever use a torque wrench as a breaker bar. These tools are calibrated an this can upset the calibration.
