- Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart has some really awesome Easter eggs, and in this video I will be sharing 30 of those Easter eggs, secrets and references. These Easter eggs include the appearance of Uncharted, Sly Cooper, Horizon Zero Dawn, Jak & Daxter and many more thanks to the awesome Ryno 8 Super Weapon.

They literally had a trophy and an armor set in ghost of tsushima, they need to just remaster the whole series

The hardest Easter Egg to find for many of us is Getting a PS5 at retail price.
If you live in the US its fairly simple. I say fairly, because you need to devote some time into it. Took me 4 days of waking up at 5am and staring at a computer and discords before i got a series x after christmas. So id assume its the same process for the PS5 lol.

There’s a possible reference to Angela Cross from Going Commando in Zordoom Prison. If you go back after clearing the level, Rivet will mention that the last time that she broke out of this prison she was with Angela “The last time I broke out of the prison I was with Angela, but that was a long time ago”

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that the Angela Cross in Rivet’s dimension is much more competent than the one we all know and love from Going Commando. She was always bumping into things and tripping on rugs. But then again, parallel Angela might be no good in a fight, but not so clumsy outside of battle.
There is also a skull in the fent system that looksl like a Alien from the resistence games :)

I love that Ratchet and Clank basically connected every single game that exists.
When sly and Bentley fell through the rift made by the ryno 8, their models look like the ones from sly 3.
The lombax coins personally made me think of Sly Cooper because the coins in those games had a raccoon head on them.
Jak and Daxter deserve a new installment ASAP! They can't keep teasing the fans.

6:40 that easter egg is a reference to Sonic the hedgehog (gotta go fast!), that's why the icon is a shoe really similar to Sonic's sneakers. Great video btw, lots of respect.

One of the Lorbs is also referencing Intelligent Cube - the one that talks about really smart cubes
Hot damn that thumbnail is wicked! Props to the talented artist that makes it.
I think the “sawtooth” is a “Ravager” mostly because of the laser cannon on its back, sawtooth have super long antennas on its back instead of a cannon, while ravagers have a cannon mounted on its back and two smaller antennas on its hindquarters, minor detail and easy to confuse. But having a detail like that in this game is amazing! Sorry, Horizon ZD is my favorite game of all time, seeing an Easter egg like that makes me so happy!

on the prison planet if you go back after completing it, rivet will reference breaking out angela, which was the protagonist/antagonist in going commando

You missed the trophy "Dont you walk away from me" which might be a refence to ratchet and clank future a crack in time where before general Azimuth kills ratchet he says "don't walk away from me"
I haven't played too much of this particular series so this might be more of a stretch but the coin pickups looked an awful lot like coins from Sly Cooper, the ones that use the Sly Cooper logo on them?

Sometimes if you collect a gold bolt clank will say "a fine addition to our collection" which is more than likely a reference to star wars revenge of the sith

Also, if you return to the prison with Rivet and go to the holding cells, She will mention that she escaped it once before with Angela

Im really glad that Sly and Jak made an appearance in the game. I really hope Insomniac is able to get their hands on those ips and make something out of them. I trust them enough to do so

I loved playing Knack and I was so happy to see that there was in reference to it because I feel like it’s kind of underrated.
After getting the game platinum a couple days ago I can truly say I was satisfied and had lots of fun playing as both characters. 🙂

When you hold the pixelizer HD charge, the ps5 controller plays a little tune.
In one of the lorbs (can't remember which entry though) Mags talked about one of the dimensions being "really, really smart cubes" this is a reference to the PS1 game I.Q.: Intelligent Qube.

RYNO can also spawn a snagglebeast from 2016 game. It's head, as well as the "keyblade" can be found on a wall at Zurkies.
Also at Zurkies, behind the bar counter where the sheep sits you can find an action figure of Dan Johnson. The price tag on it is 1.000.000 bolts)))
The CraiggerBears you collect are a tribute to Insomniac Games artist Craig Goodman, who sadly passed away in 2019.
The praetorian armor kinda reminds me of a praetorian suit from 2016 Doom or the armor from Halo.
The imperial armor reminds me of elite soldiers from Half-Life 2 with their white armor and big red "eye" on the helmet.
The negatrol collider has a sound that is the same as when a transformer transforms.
The HD pixelizer plays music when it's charged, but I don't know if this music is an easter egg.
The lorbs recordings also talk about dimension of I.Q.: Intelligent Qube (Kurushi).
The praetorian armor is absolutely the doom armor. Same name and same look.
I think the Praetorian armor is actually a reference to Alister Azimuth from Crack in Time whom was a part of the Lombax Praetorian Guard until . . . you know

There is another Insomniac Logo in Nefarious City in the building area where all the boxes are at that break and give no coins. It’s on top of one of the stacked up boxes to the right as you’re about to leave the first room, and if you shoot it, it sprays confetti and gives you some bolts.
I actually didn't notice that the ninth Lorb was a nod to the LBP franchise. That's honestly super cute! LBP is one of my absolute favorite franchises of all time, and with all these easter eggs I wondered if they were going to reference it somehow, and I'm glad they did.
The Insomniac logo is found in every level. Sometimes it's static, sometimes you can hit it and roll it around. And I don't think that's a bumblebee outfit. It's more of just a what if rivet replaced her entire body.

I can't get over how awesome the game was, Hopefully they'll change the concept and go for a open world ver of the game when we dive into their adventures of finding their family, Wish there's more to do I wanna spend a lot of time in the ratchet and clank world so much

The machine at 2:29 is not a sawtooth, but a ravager. Sawtooths don’t have cannons on their backs, but ravagers do

That yellow Android armor actually makes me think of Metal Arms: Glitch in the system.
I think it's worth mentioning that the Dimension mentioned in the Lorbs described as "Intelligent cubes" is a nod to the Ps1 game of the same name. I think the RYNO even summons one of the game's cubes.
I love that the Lorbs mention the cartoony IPs of Sony

The trophy you get when you “buy” the Rhino 8 is called Aim to Misbehave, which is a reference to the scifi series Firefly.

Also it’s worth noting during the final battle with the Imperial Power Suit the Robots right eye with Dr Nefarious in it not only is the chamber closed most if not all the time so is Dr Nefarious as if he’s intentionally tryna to make the Emperor fail! No wonder the Imperial Suit was extremely easy to take down!
I hope that, with all the Jak and Daxter references, that means they're working on something, even if it's just another remaster of the old games.
Tere was one dimension mapped in the logs that was described to be made completely out of cubes, from the world to the creatures, to me it sounds a lot like Minecraft

With all these references of other series coming from the ryno 8 and the dimensions described in the lorbs, I can't help but think that its possible for a crossover with these series thanks to the dimensionator.

I was playing this game without watching any spoilers and when fired the ryno 8 and seen sly cooper standing there I got hyped as hell, we really need a sly 5 or remaster the first 3 games with these graphics 😩🙏🏽🔥

You forgot, I think this is an easter egg, when Rivet mentioned Angela Cross at Viceron. My question is... did they meet before? Rivet said that she last saw her in that same prison, or did Angela jump between dimensions?
I like the idea of the Key being a reference to Kingdom Hearts but the Key model itself is used in the game on the Pirate Planet so its probably just that simple.

The trademark was renewed recently by Insomniac. Yes, I know, trademarks get renewed all the time.
But it was Insomniac that renewed it, not Microsoft. And if they hold the rights hope remains for a sequel on PS5.

Definitely isn’t precursor. It’s Lombax script. You can see it elsewhere in the future series.
4:30 this one comment made me realize how AWESOME a Ratchet & Clank/Transformers crossover would be! They're both space-related after all
5:43 i think the fish skin for the wrench/hammer swap packs is a reference to some cut content from the original 2002 game. there was going to be an unlockable that turned the wrench into a fish, but it was cut because they couldnt get it to animate properly.
One of the cheevos I saw on your screen, which I'm sure I have but missed as I have the RYNO, was "Aim to Misbehave". That's a Firefly reference. 😁

Man im just absolutely happy that they added sly in the game. it was actually my childhood game i remember playing it on my "ps vita" (Only legends will remember that) and it was so cool

I think the orb reskin for the nuts and bolts is referencing Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal, where hp looked similar.

You missed some armour references. There is a Killzone one, a Captain Starshield one (from Ratchet: Deadlocked) and so on. There is also a Dan Johnson reference (at Zurkies), just like in every other R&C game. Good job btw! The thumbnail really got me 🔥🔥
I did a playthrough of the game on my channel and after watching the video I just might have to revisit the game and be on the lookout for all of these easter eggs!!

Whats dumb is that they don't qttack at all i think this references should have a ability to be a weapon and since they are a low chance to get they should make it a feature.

In Zurkies, the arcade machines that npcs are playing is what im pretty sure of is Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
Plus at the juke box by the bar Rivet will do some dances, one is definitely a Charlie Brown/Peanuts dance, as well as some other popular dances.
